"Police were trying to figure out what set off Autenrieth, who was supposed to drop off his three children curbside at his estranged wife's townhouse Sunday night. Instead, he went into the house in Nazareth — ignoring a May 18 protection-from-abuse order that forbade it — and began arguing with her."
One of the Officers likened this shooting to an American tragedy, and it was. An Officer, father of 3, is dead. When are the Courts and LE going to figure out that Orders of Protection/Protection From Abuse, aren't worth the paper they're written on? This time it was an Officer, a husband, a father, and I'm very sad for them. Usually, however, it's the wife, the girl friend, the children. NOW, maybe, the Courts can SEE they need to have stronger measures in place to protect the innocent!
Sorry, but this is something I feel very strongly about.
