New Brunswick Amber Alert Criterion:


Police have confirmed that an abduction has occurred.
The victim is a child, or of proven mental or physical disability.
There is reason to believe the victim is in danger of serious bodily injury.
There is information available that, if disseminated to the general public, could assist in the safe recovery of the victim.

New Brunswick launches official AMBER Alert Facebook Page, Fredericton, N.B.

As part of an effort to ensure that any future AMBER Alerts in New Brunswick reach as many people as possible, Facebook users can now sign up to receive New Brunswick AMBER Alerts directly to their News Feeds.

AMBER Alert is a partnership between media and law enforcement to provide the public with information which may help in locating an abducted child. In the event of an AMBER Alert in New Brunswick, information will be sent out via Facebook at the same time as it is distributed to media outlets.
