A 41-year-old Big Horn County woman has been reported missing.

The sheriff’s office says Crystal Williamson, who also goes by Crystal Littlelight, was last seen June 30 when she left her mother’s house to go swimming with friends in the Little Bighorn River.

Her mother filed a missing person’s report on July 2.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs used a helicopter to search for Williamson over the weekend, said assistant special agent Elizabeth Hull.

Williamson is a 41-year-old Native American who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has hazel eyes and light brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a dark gray T-shirt, cutoff jean shorts and no shoes.

Body found in Little Bighorn River ID’d

BILLINGS - Authorities say the body of a woman found in the Little Bighorn River southeast of Billings is that of Crystal Williamson, who was reported missing July 2.

Bureau of Indian Affairs special agent Matthew Pryor says forensic testing verified the identity Thursday. He noted that there were no signs of trauma to the body.
