I did a search but came up blank. I continue to read that CA saw a counselor who advised her to seek custody of Caylee. Did LE/FBI/SA confirm this actually did happen? I know we discussed it in many a thread, but I haven't seen any released documentation that states CA was seen by a licensed counselor. Yep, I know about the HIPPA laws, but still I haven't read anything about it in the docs. Other than CA telling others she did and we know CA isn't exactly forth coming with truths.

Thanks CW, I read that too, but it was based on what CA told her. I also read the SP interview and again, it's CA telling the story about the counselor. Typical of CA.

The FBI report did not say LA, CA and GA's prints were compared to anything. It said there were NO latent prints found at all.

I have a question about the whole mixed up timeline - If GA insists he saw Caylee and KC on 6/16 - the day after Father's Day - what places KC back at the residence on the night of 6/15? IIRC CA talked about the whole "ate Chili at her mom's and came home and went swimming with Caylee". At what point did loving daughter KC come home to spend time with her Dad on Father's Day?? Did she give him a present? Did she hug him? Did she buy him a card? There is NO talk about any of that whatsoever? Am I right?
I guess I'm just thinking about how his entire story is blown to hell and back, especially with the eyewitness placing KC and Caylee in his store on the 16th around noon. Not that I ever believe GA's story anyway.

I am looking for a photo of Caylee wearing a shirt with what looks like a marijuana leaf (it is not) on the front. She has on lots of beads, sunglasses and a pair of red sandles/thongs with heart on top front. Anyone know where I might find this photo? I saw that photo on this forum when I was lurking and saved it but had a pc crash and cannot find it here or on the internet.

Hi Lil Miss Sleuth. I looked there or at least I think it is the same place but I see only 6 pages of photos so I don't think I was at the right place. If someone would please link it here I can to to it. I may not be looking at the right place but checked all the stickies. The photo was also posted on one of the threads for discussion mainly due to the shirt. I want to look at the shoes and it is the only photo I find with these shoes.

Thanks for the vertification. According to LA in the secret video with TL, he said that his mom sent it out to find her. There must have been a reason that CA knew she wasn't in Jacksonville. I haven't seen a explanation for that.
I always thought Lee saw on her facebook that she appeared to be in town, that she was headed to the Dragon Room or wherever that night, and that he may haven spoken to others because she wound up being tipped off somehow that he was coming and eluded him. I'm sorry I don't have a link, and your question is a good one. :)

No question is stupid, thanks for posting, and your question is a good one! :)
(In answer to your question, I don't believe there is any such thing as "truth serum". Various drugs have been explored over the years but nothing found that functions as a "truth serum".) (Luckily, or else people might actually be wanting to pass laws to be able to force such a drug on people during legal questioning and so on. That would be very invasive/abusive etc.)

The only explanation I've ever heard is that a fellow prisoner gave KC his name. So he was recommended to her by a fellow inmate. :waitasec:
If someone has further information regarding the above question, I'm interested too.
I know, I've never seen any further info on that either. And that is a major question, did anyone else arrange this defense for her, who are they in that case, etc.

On bb video from 16th @ approx 8 pm, KC appears to be wearing a gray man's 'wife beater' tee shirt and jean shorts. Any discussion about finding those clothes? I can't make out what kind of shoes she might be wearing but there may be trace evidence on the clothing she was wearing. Did she do all of her laundry at the A's? I don't remember if any mention of KC doing laundry at friends while couch surfing. Any thoughts?

Before KC's car got towed she used sneaker cleaner from Tony's apartment and tossed the its container into the trash bag that ended up in her trunk.
Or someone used it.

Am I misunderstanding something? Is JB complaining about the FBI destroying the heart-shaped sticker? Why would he even bring this up, UNLESS, while looking for prints on the tape with the stickers they actually did find something and they are trying to get it ALL tossed out as being mishandled? Why else would defense even mention the heart sticker as it goes against the defense?

I did a quick search and what I came up with is: "the attorney for the "witness" is outside of the jury room and is available should the witness need to consult with his/her attorney."

Apparently we are getting another doc dump this week and the SA office has said that every document they have gotten will be released - for a total of 10,400 pages.
Does anyone know approximately how many pages we've gotten so far? Just wondering how many pages are coming.

We have no knowledge of what interviews were done by the police unless they were released to the public.
I have never seen an interview released regarding the person who did Casey's manicure.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question. I asked this question in another thread that was a bit OT but I've always been curious about the answer if anyone knows.
Can a doctor morally and ethically sit on a jury that is going to be DP qualified? The reason I ask is because of the oath a doctor takes. I know in the corrections system they have to use paramedics to carry out the death sentence because Doctors can't, do to the Hippocratic oath. Now they can be brought in to declare the person dead but they can't actually administer the potassium and other drugs into the needle.
Knowing that I always wondered if they could hand down a verdict for death if they sat on a DP jury.

Yes, in the article I linked it says 2,605.26 in deposits were made to her account and the current balance is at -$7.45.

It's very possible that if Casey is found guilty of the "fraud" charges and sentence to "x" amount of years in prison, Casey would go to prision until her murder trial begins.
Now Casey would receive credit for time served in jail, and depending on how much time Casey could get on the check fraud charges, she just might not go to prision and remain in jail.
According to the "Orlando Sentienel" article, Casey has spent 411 Total days Anthony has spent in jail (includes time she spent behind bars before the Oct. 14, 2008, murder indictment).

I don't really know where to put this, so if it doesn't belong here sorry!
But of all the Forensic Files and True Crime shows I hvae watched, I just can't believe Casey would be smart enough to not have made glaring mistakes and trip ups. I know we haevn't seen all the state has, but I guess I was hoping for a quick slam dunk DP.

BBM, do you have a link or similar to that info for this info for Orange County? I live here, know people who have been incarcerated here and have never heard that. I don't think it's accurate. TIA! :blowkiss:

I thought that in an early document dump we saw a transcript or some document from Casey's high school showing that she did graduate. In the newly released depos, George and Cindy are still claiming that she didn't.
Can someone help me out here? I have no idea why this bothers me, but I need to know. Did she graduate?

Sorry if this has been asked. I'm just wondering why JB and AL have to appear at all these depos? Aren't they between the state and the Anthony family? (and wouldn't the Anthony family ostensibly be not only the defendant's family but the plaintiff's? creating a conflict?) Why are they squatting like buzzards during this and allowed to interject things? Just their presence would be unnerving and would influence GA, CA and LA's answers, I'd think.
I guess the good part is that, because JB and AL were there, the state didn't have to release the transcripts to them first and wait for them to release them to the public at their leisure. We got them right away. Before the CBS show. So we can compare everything to what's coming up. And measure the massive changes that have taken place since July 2008 in their testimonies and interviews.

I was wondering if there was a thread about Casey Anthony and her own credit cards.
The reason I thought about this is, she is old enough to get one. Usually, when you shop for clothes at stores (especially jr's clothing stores) they badger you about getting one. Why wouldn't she say yes? She knew she would only have to pay the minimum at most once a month...and woo hoo a shopping spree!!!
I wonder if Cindy was paying off those cards as well...you know that's just saying IF Casey had her own credit cards.

The report that she got her diploma came from a code on her hs transcript.LE noted in handwriting in one of the doc dumps on the transcript itself that the code denoted that she had gotten her diploma but did not graduate on time. It could have certainly been in error.
The only question in my mind is if she completed the hs requirements in some other way but just didn't graduate with her class.

And, you are evaluated periodically to determine whether or not your disability payments will continue, not a blanket 2 year coverage because you are too busy making media appearances??? It has yet to be determined IF Gentiva Home Care has paid money to Cindy or if Cindy HAD a private disability policy or if Gentiva offered a disability insurance through employment or if Cindy is on Social Security Disability.
I doubt very much that Cindy is on Social Security Disabilty and getting all this money from licensing fees as well as all her travels. This wouldn't sit very well with the government.

The report that she got her diploma came from a code on her hs transcript.LE noted in handwriting in one of the doc dumps on the transcript itself that the code denoted that she had gotten her diploma but did not graduate on time. It could have certainly been in error.
The only question in my mind is if she completed the hs requirements in some other way but just didn't graduate with her class.

I thought that in an early document dump we saw a transcript or some document from Casey's high school showing that she did graduate. In the newly released depos, George and Cindy are still claiming that she didn't.
Can someone help me out here? I have no idea why this bothers me, but I need to know. Did she graduate?
I remember there was a print screen of her school record and it showed her withdrawal date and withdrawal code and she had a W06 - Graduate. Below is a link to the Florida Department of Education database that shows the codes used for withdrawal. This stuck out to me.

Thanks for the link. Page 47 shows her W06 code on May 24, 2004, with a W06 withdrawal code, which means she is considered a graduate.

At the end of a school year, most school software has a program that runs that puts the W06 code on all 12th graders, and then the data processor, or school counselor has to go change the ones that either didn't graduate or graduated with a special diploma, etc... Since the entire family is saying she didn't graduate, but the computer screen shows that she did, either someone forgot to go and make the correction in the computer, or after rechecking her credits then she did have enough to graduate.

IIRC the day that Caylee was reported missing, LA went to Tone's to get KC's things. Did LE ever take those things into evidence? Has a report been released that states what those possessions were?
I am just interested in whether or not any clothing or toys of Caylee's were with KC's possessions and I can't remember or find anything other than Cindy's statements about what was brought back.
I keep coming across a reference to GA's description of the sound the maggots made in the trash bag at the tow yard. Where can I find this?

Forgive me for double posting but I probably should have put this question here in the first place - also posted in discrepencies thread. In the gas can incident on the 24th, GA told KC he wanted the triangular jack stands to use on CA car, and he was heading to Kc's car to get them. She beats feet and pulls the gas cans from the car but there is no mention of those jack stands. I think he alluded to the fact the jack stands were down in the spare tire area of her trunk. I realize he was probably stunned by her outburst and thrusting the cans at him, however - he didn't get what he was after initially (except to prove KC stole the gas cans) there was no mention of those jack stands after that. Did cops find the jack stands in the trunk? Where did they end up?

There is not a report comparing Casey's and George's DNA, but if you look at the detailed charts listing their alleles, Casey's DNA profile is consistent with her being the child of Cindy and George. I checked because I wondered the same thing. ;)

And with Casey and Lee in and out of the garage (which is connected to the inside of the house by a door)...wouldn't that overwhelming smell have been noticed? Lee says it was overpowering when he got to the house.
Did any of the officers actually go into the garage that night? I know Cindy said something about the Lanyard being in the garage? and she assumed LE took it..is that right?

I don't think G ever wanted the jack stands or wedges....he just wanted his cans and knew (or suspected) KC had them. So after she fessed up and said 'here's your f'ing gas cans' there was no need for the wedges. He busted her for the cans, and that was the end of it.

I just listened to the FBI interview with Cindy.. she says the shamrock lanyard was in the garage and she assumed that LE took it when the deputies were in there going through Casey's 'other effects' that she had put by the washer and dryer. They HAD to have smelled that car....geez. WHY did the car sit there for as long as it did?? This really bugs me.

Whatever happened to the NG show that was supposed to air back in June...the one that was going to highlight all of the As inconsistencies? It was pulled for the MJ coverage, but was it every put back on her schedule?

Will the jury ever see that information/letter/court document that Mr. Lennemon prepared that set out all the arguments including mental illness, possible accidental death by overdose of sedatives, etc? LE came to the Anthony home in the early morning hours and removed the gun that was in the wheel-well of George's car. Casey was out of jail at that time and having a gun anywhere within the household or a vehicle could have put Casey back in jail.
I don't recall that a teddy bear was also found in the wheel-well of Geroge's car.

Question concerning discovery....
Early on in the case, when we first started getting documents dumps, I seem to recall that I read from a poster with a legal background that LE did not have to pass anything over to defense that they were still using in investigation until they were finished with it? Is this correct? Is that why there are some affidavits and interviews that we know took place but we have seen in a doc dump yet?
If this is true, is it the same for the defense? If they have uncovered something but are still investigating it, do they need to turn it over to SA now even if they have not finished investigating it? Or do both sides only have to turn over what they plan to use in trial?
For example: If DC has recently uncovered something that Baez believes may prove that the body was not on Suburban in August, but they are still investigating that piece of evidence DC found, do they have to turn it over to SA now, or when/if the hearing for this new motion from SA is heard, can Baez just state that they are still investigating their evidence?

Kent, in the recent hearing, that is just about what Baez muffled and came up with, when asked to produce evidence of what Todd claimed that they have "evidence, and proof" that the body was placed there after Casey went to jail, Baez nervously told the judge that well.... they haven't finished checking on things different people from TES said back and forth and comparing notes, etc...... so yes, he kind of claimed it to be a work in progress, wholly different that the more definitive declarations of Todd earlier in open court. So the judge put a clock on it and told the defense they will indeed hand over their witness list or proof that they claim to have, I believe by February of 2010.iirc

I'm trying to find the distance from the road at which Caylee's remains were found, and having trouble finding it. I'm not sure which discovery doc it might be in. Googling is turning up news stories with anywhere from 10 to 60 feet as the distance.
Does anyone know if we've gotten a confirmed distance?

LE always seems to be trying to "ratchet" this down in the interviews, but I haven't yet stumbled upon anything definitive. Has anyone established any such time periods?

On bb video from 16th @ approx 8 pm, KC appears to be wearing a gray man's 'wife beater' tee shirt and jean shorts. Any discussion about finding those clothes? I can't make out what kind of shoes she might be wearing but there may be trace evidence on the clothing she was wearing.

I know what you mean about the clothes from the BB video. I haven't seen any discovery released so far that indicates LE checked into these clothes to see if they were still accounted for, or took them in for closer study, etc.

That reminds me, Lee Anthony also ripped up his wall to wall carpeting when he moved out of his rental house. Onlookers and neighbors were commenting on the carpet thrown out to the curb.

I remember this as well and have been looking for the link. I rfemember there was a photo of the trash on his curb and some beer pong ranking poster. I can back your memory up but have not been able to find the link to post.

Can someone explain in detail how the Sunshine Law works as far as releasing records to the public?
For example, when SA turns over documents to Defense, I am assuming the records are then considered public. BUT, a member of the public (or media) has to officially request a copy of released records, right? And then what happens?
I am trying to figure out why there is such a time delay between when the Defense has received documents and when the public/media actually gets them in hand?
Would ask Muzikman since this seems to be his specialty, but haven't seen him around!!

The party requesting the docs must be the one to arrange for payment. Often news media sort through what the docs include and pick and choose what they consider worth paying for. MM has found a number of docs that were never requested and has arranged to get those to us on his own. Docs are not included in the Sunshine standards until both parties have them and usually there is a wee delay so that everyone has time to analyze them. Docs can be excluded if sealed by a judge, or part of an ongoing work in progress. Notes are not included, neither is work product, just documents.

If I want to know something I tend to google it and read a result or two, if it's utterly fascinating I might read most of the first 2 pages of google results, I might wiki it, point being that intense interest is going to take some time....and a quick wiki hit isnt intense..if I was planning on making chloroform I think I would read more than just the first page in three minutes..

IIRC, CA was supposedly at work at the time of the searches. It would have been either GA or KC at home at the time.

TIAThankful for the ctrl/+ option.. my eyes are bad! Cindy says she googled "chlorophil" (sp error intentional? correct spelling is Chlorophyll...I wonder if she really wanted to mispell it as 'Chlorofil' to bring up more links with Chloroform, but screwed up) because the dogs were vomiting.. thinking it was from eating grass/plant material.. claims it brought up Chloroform.. She also builds in an alibi that she could have done the searches at home at that time because sometimes she works late so she is able to go home early on other days. The cincher..she says she always puts 8-5 on her timecard because she is salaried..and that the timecard doesn't reflect actual times she was really at the office.

If indeed, he saw the inside of the trunk and said he remembers laundry, I would like to read his statement.

If she was salaried she was unlikely to mark a time sheet- I would like more details regarding that statement about her work hours and the time when she says she was signed into work but actually at home searching for Chloroform online.... in error of course.
Some of cindys co-workers were interviewed, but they don't speak about her hours that I recall. They are mostly asked about if they ever heard of zanny, when KC would come in to drop off Caylee, and the day the car was found at the impound lot.
Her co-workers that were interviewed that I can think of off the top of my head were Charles C., Debbie B. I can't think of anyone else at the moment.

In his interview with OCSO he states that he didn't see in the trunk and didn't get that close. In his FBI interview he states that he did see inside of the trunk. It's that interview where he referenced the blue crate things and laundry.

IIRC, the date for the gas can reported to the police is June 24, 2008; same day as when Casey returned home and the gas cans were in the back of Casey's car.

It looks like the last shipment to the entomologist was sent March 3. I'm thinking that was the shipment with the adult flies that had hatched within the white trash bag with the paper towels. DP put back on the table April 14, so they might have had a verbal report on the results by then.

IMO, The Anthony's are not priviledged to any information prior to the documents being released to the defense. The state is for Caylee, Jose is for Casey and the Anthony's are just Mr. & Mrs. Joe Public.
If anything, the Anthony's attorney might get a copy from the defense or request their own copy from the court system.
Regarding what TP alluded to, I have yet to see anything that was "unexpected" from the State or Defense Team.

If i remember correctly they did not find any dna evidence from the stain in the trunk. So if the stain was decompostion i would think it would have dna. So basically i am asking was it ever determined that the stain was decomp and if it wasnt why the strong smell? Does that make any sense?:waitasec:

IIRC, Cindy said "pizza 19 days in a hot trunk" on July 22, 2008 after the bond hearing. So the 19 days falls into the timeframe of when the car was towed.

Cindy gave "off-beat" days about how long the pizza was in the trunk. I don't recall if on the tow receipt if there was info indicating that the car was left at Amscot for "x" amount of days or not. At the time of the bond hearing on July 22, IF the info was on the tow receipt regarding the car sitting at Amscot, then this is where Cindy calculated the days.
IMO, no Cindy didn't know the car was at Amscot on June 27th because IF Cindy spotted Casey car there, Cindy would be on it in a split-second.

I have been listening to audio tapes of interviews that I had only read transcripts of before. Ricardo M. and Tony Laarro specifically.
Question #1: During his third interview (Nov. 08) Ricardo is being asked to identify people in photographs. Towards the end of this process he is asked about drugs and he named his roomate Cameron as a "middle man" in obtaining Xanax. There is then a reference to a person named "Jenna" or "Jemma" and the investigator says to him "You see what this is? Directions to her house"
Does anyone know what this was about - or have any theories? Has the name Jenna or Jemma ever come up anywhere?
Question #2: During a Tony Lazarro interview the interviewer mentioned to him that Casey had made several calls to a number in New York.
Has it ever been determined who she was calling in New York?

Jenna was one of the shot girls at Fusian, the nightclub TL was managing/dj.

There is a document that is a statement from one of the Target cashiers where KC used one of Amy's checks to purchase $155 worth of merchandise. Within the statement it says that KC presented the check and also a Florida drivers license as ID. Presumably this was Amy's driver's license?
Did Amy ever state that her drivers license was stolen along with her checks? How and when did KC get her drivers license, if anyone knows?
Could this be what the police officer removed from KC's wallet the night of July 15/16 when they dumped the contents of KC's bags out onto the floor of the Anthony home?
Maybe I just missed this, but the fact that KC had Amy's drivers license was news to me!

She was charged with using someone else's ID , so yes, it very likely was Amy's.

Regarding the new defense motion to allow alleged evidence that Mr. Kronk might have killed Caylee:
1. Does Strickland hear the motion argued and then decide at that time whether or not to allow it to come in at trial?
2. If he rules against the defense, does that give them ammo for appeal - saying all evidence was not allowed?

Friday, I just found something interesting. Kronk's exwife was one of the people that spoke out against him. I'm going to look for the original court doc with this info, but my son has an away game today, so I won't be able to spend much time until later & tomorrow. I'm thinking you may have better capabilities, so if you find it before me, please post. Wow! To think this is somebody that they unofficially took info from. She was not sworn in, and the interview was buy a pi, so please keep in mind it's not a true deposition.
Mods, I beg of you to keep this info as it's pertinent to Kronk. This woman spoke out against him. I'm going to look for official documents regarding this.

DCF interviewed Casey when she was out on bond, and their report has been included in the discovery. They also met with Casey once or twice later on in the jail.

IIRC I think she just used her own ID as she did sign Amy's check with her own name. Amy would have needed her ID to go to PR (getting on board the plane etc). I remember watching the Target video and the checker did not even look at the ID she just swiped it in her machine along when processing the check. She did not even look to see if the names matched the ID or the check nor did the checker(s) look to see if the signature line matched the name on the check.

I think I remember that the lock was on the floor of the shed. I'm not sure which was broken-the lock itself or the part of the shed that the lock goes thru. AL stated he broke into the shed with a tire iron so KC could get the gas cans.

I believe CA or GA said it was part of the shed lock, not a padlock but the lock that is on the handle of the shed.

I've just been in the RHornsby thread and wonder if any can point me in the direction of Casey's interview(s) with LE that discuss why the trunk of her car smelled so much. I haven't seen anything and its hard to believe they didn't ask any questions at all about it. RH is saying any of her testimony during those interviews can be admitted at trial. Thanks in advance!

IIRC, LE interviewed Casey very late on July 15th and started early in the day on July 16th driving around Orlando and then up to Universal. The car at some point was picked up on or about late on July 16th and was not part of the initial conversation. Once they brought Casey to jail, all communication about the car et al ended as Casey got an attorney.

Forgive me for double posting but I probably should have put this question here in the first place - also posted in discrepencies thread. In the gas can incident on the 24th, GA told KC he wanted the triangular jack stands to use on CA car, and he was heading to Kc's car to get them. She beats feet and pulls the gas cans from the car but there is no mention of those jack stands. I think he alluded to the fact the jack stands were down in the spare tire area of her trunk. I realize he was probably stunned by her outburst and thrusting the cans at him, however - he didn't get what he was after initially (except to prove KC stole the gas cans) there was no mention of those jack stands after that. Did cops find the jack stands in the trunk? Where did they end up?
He was just using that as a ruse, he said he had his old detective self rearing up in his thoughts and he felt she had stolen the gas cans, that he had seen evidence before of gas having run down the side of her car where she had poured it in, etc. This was in his FBI interview.

Was the white/light-colored backpack, Tony referred to as perhaps a Jansport, that Casey had "packed out" on her walk from the outta-gas Pontiac 6/23 towards G&C's ever definitively recovered?
Lee MAY have recovered this among Casey's things he collected from Tony's apt. latePM-earlyAM 7/15-7/16 when he collected the laptop. Perhaps it was one of the bags that was dumped out in front of LE 7/15PM. :waitasec:
I've always been curious about the contents & final disposition of them and this backpack. IOW...Casey knew she was going to get assistance from Tony when she started walking 6/23. She knew she wasn't far from G&C's and would be coming right back. What would be of such importance to her that she wanted to lug this thing??? IIRC, temps were ~90F that day. Seems un-Casey-like to put forth the effort if there wasn't some reason to lug this thing. :waitasec:

Prolly nothing. I've just always been curious. I saw one backpack listed in the evidence, H-51975 item 4. And based on the items this is listed with I believe THAT item 4 is Caylee's backpack.
I've seen some pics of the Pontiac interior lately...and what might've been incidental shots of this Dora backpack...but I haven't paid close enough attention to be certain.
Anyone able to help me out? Didn't seem threadworthy since there's not a tremendous amount of info on it...but pls. feel free to launch one & discuss if appropriate.

Does anyone know if we ever found out anymore regarding the 2 necklaces KC purchased @ Penneys with CA's credit card. I can't remember what was fact and what was fiction .....I know that CA didn't want to turn over the credit card statement, but I don't remember hearing for sure (if we ever did) exactly what KC purchased. Anyone else remember that? TIA!

Early on in this case someone put up a link to a music video KC had on her myspace (I think) page, which featured a mother and a small child traveling in a car, and then going to a motel. Does anyone remember what that was?

I thought I remember hearing that truTV had made a deal with whoever to be able to air the whole trial. But I recently heard it might not be so that upcoming witnesses (like the A's) can't find out what has been said already (I can't remember what show I heard that from). Does anyone know for sure? If not, are there transcripts for each day of trial that are released? I don't wanna miss a second of what goes on in that courtroom each day!

I have not heard of any deal being made about TruTV covering the trial. TruTV covers a lot of trials providing the court room allows cameras. Since cameras have been in the court room during all of the hearings in this case, chances are TruTV will also be there.
There is a very good possibility that all the local media will have a live stream in the court room, like they have done throughout, so the trials can be viewed online.
I don't believe that the court releases daily transcripts of the trial. This might be a good question for R Hornsby Questions and Answers thread.
