Police Looking for Mother, Two Children

The Idaho Falls Police Department is tying to find a woman and her two children who were reported missing from their home Sunday.

Police believe the last time Misty Jean Moon, 27, Keagan James Buttars, 9, and Kasia Mayrie Buttars, 7, were in Idaho was on Aug. 18.

Misty Moon is driving a yellow 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. She was pulled over in her car for speeding in Lubbock, Texas, on Aug. 20. She was let off with a written warning. It was reported two children were with her.

The woman's current emotional state and mental condition are unknown.

Missing family

Police are checking into the welfare of a mom and her two kids.
27-year old Misty Jean Moon along with her kids, 9 year old Keagan Butters and 7 year old Kasia Butters were last seen by her family August 18th.

She was with two kids at the time and told authorities she was headed to Jerusalem.

A couple days later, her family reported them missing.
