Missing boy sought in Chula Vista

Chula Vista police are searching for a missing 10-year-old boy who may be in danger.

Troy Richmond Jr. was last seen 11 a.m. Friday at his home on 1st Avenue near Naples Street in Chula Vista. He is 4 feet 11 inches tall, 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black basketball shorts.

His family told investigators that a family friend, Byron Keith Johnson, 41, said he was taking the boy to a barbeque at an unknown location. The pair never returned.

Johnson does not have a permanent address or a phone number and is known to stay with friends in Spring Valley, San Diego and Chula Vista. The pair may be on foot or may have taken public transportation.

I've never even heard of Chula Vista
Where is that????
Is it a popular place that everyone knows of and that's why you didn't put the state on your post?
I'm just wondering.....i've just never heard of it all.
Am i out of the loop?
I really hope he's safe and okay :(

Oh good. I'm glad he was found! Hours ago before I even posted. Guess I didn't look well enough. I apologize.

On a side note, I did put the state in the thread title. It's at the very beginning. I don't think Chula Vista is terribly popular. The article didn't specifically mention California, and I didn't think to add it. Sorry! :)
