Crystal Gomez was last seen five years ago in August 2004, when she was 16. Gomez had a history of running away from her home in the 400 block of Augustus Road in Las Cruces, according to Crime Stoppers.
Prior to her disappearance, Gomez was found on the streets in Orange County, California, and also ran away to live with friends in El Paso. Her family believes Gomez may be in California or in Albuquerque, N.M.
At age 16, Gomez was 5'8" tall and weighed about 150 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. She is now 21 years old. The photo below, provided by Crime Stoppers, was taken when Gomez was 14 years old.
