Darlene Anderson was last seen Thursday night at her residence in the 15000 blk. of Mt. Holley Creek Lane in Smithfield. A family member discovered her missing Friday morning at around 9 a.m.
Anderson is a 47-year-old black female. She has brown eyes, is 5 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds.
Police tell WAVY.com Anderson suffers from a mental illness.
