A Hemet girl has been missing since Sunday and her family requested the public’s help to find her.
Joey Garcia, 14, was last seen at her family’s home in Hemet.
“We all went to bed and when we woke up, she was gone,” Natalie Vogel, Joey’s aunt, said.
Vosel said Joey was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and gray Converse tennis shoes. Joey is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 202 pounds. She has brown hair that could appear blonde because of highlights.
Joey is a freshman at Noli Indian School but has not attended this week, Vogel said.
The family put up fliers around town and has had some calls in response, she said.
Vogel said the people who have called said they may have seen her walking around town; however, no sightings could be confirmed.
The family has reported the girl missing to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
