NATURE OF STORY: SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE In Search For Endangered Missing Person
LOCATION: Blue River Area
Involved/Missing: Kellis, James Austin DOB: 09-20-1972
DETAILS:
Kellis was reported missing to the Springfield Police Dept. yesterday by family members. Kellis is described as developmentally delayed. He was last seen wearing gray slacks, black shoes and a gray T-shirt with printing “Jesus saves” on the front. Kellis is 6’4” tall, 295 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair.
Kellis apparently took an LTD bus from Springfield to the Blue River area on Sunday, September 13th. He was last seen at 4:00 PM Sunday at the Holiday Farm Resort, 54455 McKenzie River Dr, where he requested a drink of water. Kellis has not returned home and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Sheriff’s office Search and Rescue personnel, patrol staff and family members are continuing the search for Kellis in the Blue River area at this time.
Kellis is considered endangered and the sheriff’s office is seeking any information from the public that may assist in locating him. Persons with information regarding Kellis are asked to call the Lane County Sheriff’s Office or the Springfield Police Department.
