I attended the vigil. I wanted to show support for Amber's parents. The mood was very sad and somber. A lot of tears from everyone. At the same time, I think everyone in the community wanted to be there.The principal of the school spoke, as did the police chief, and Amber's dad. Amazing Grace was sung at the end. I cried all the way home...
