SC - Heather Elvis, 20, Myrtle Beach, 18 Dec 2013 #20 **ARREST**

Okay I'm gonna roll out a scenario, forgive me if it's ugly, but it's something that has bothered me from the start. The back and forth communication between HE and SM's phone from 3-6 am...I believe LE referred to it as "text or private messaging". If it was HE in possession of her phone that would lead me to believe she was NOT with SM up until 6, and free to use her phone at that time....after all why would you need to text or pm if you are with that person....not a likely scenario. So my 2 theorys are:
1. HE met her demise with TM alone sometime after 3 am at which time TM took possession of the phone and began the texting/pm to SM who was not there. A kind of "I've got your girlfriend, now what are you gonna do"
2. HE met her demise with BOTH TM and SM sometime after 3 am and TM took possession of her phone and began taking photos of HE with it and sent those photos via text and pm to SM's phone as a sort of "Photo Documentation" of what they were doing to HE...most likely scenario given TM's personality and fascination with photography (I'm calling it a fascination because she has no business calling herself a photographer-her photography sucks!)

you mention her fascination wiht photography and it's like it wasn't real until she photo documented and what wasn't real became real or others would think it was real if she had a picture- her photoshops of herself an hubby all ovey dovey i think this fascination is providin evidence that will proove their guilt

Couldn't the evidence just be blood-stained clothing - HE's or the Ms - found at the property?

Also, I am tending to lean towards the murder method being strangulation, beating, stabbing - something very personal that reflect a high degree of passion and rage.

SM and TM married when he was 20.
He was not allowed to have thoughts of his own. IMO
I believe he was more likely treated as her child vs her spouse.
I don't think SM viewed himself as a 37 year old grown up. So I wouldn't expect him to have grown up thoughts and draw those comparisons.

So all 3 kids are his? Bless their hearts.

Makes some sense. Wherever TM/SM drove, they would take the evidence with them rather than leaving it around the house to be discovered. Something of hers locked up in one of the toolboxes, perhaps?

Or hair. But that depends on how quickly DNA can be run.

Perhaps if there was hair, it had a death band (I'm thinking of the Caylee Anthony case). But again, I wonder how long it would take to run DNA on something like that. Or on anything else.

I'm also kinda thinking photos of some sort...belongings too. Unless, of course, cadaver dogs did hit and they're just not saying.

Form the start when I heard TM say they had a somewaht "open Marriage" was just off to me and gave me a bad feeling about her giving him weird ultimatums and defending him to protect her image. I can't figure out what the indecent exposure is about - also even if his wife found out about the affair, how did this all go down? What was the threat that HE posed that resulted in a plan to murder her? This is what is getting to me - was it spousal jealousy only? If so why would he go along with his wife's plan to murder? If she acted alone I could see it - but for them both to do this?

I am not understanding the motive too much, but maybe that is something that just can't be understood.

Motive? I have a feeling the TM was pretty use to controlling people & having her way. She probably met her match in HE. HE doesn't seem to be the kind of girl to slither away. TM obviously would have none of this & killed her. JMO

I can't keep up this morning, and am skipping over pages at a time, so just because I don't thank a post doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. I appreciate every one of your posts!
Off to take my mom to the doctor now...She's elderly and terminally ill.
It's not that I didn't appreciate every moment with her before, but this tragedy keeps reminding me how important it is to never take a single moment with loved ones for granted. So sad....

…..just 20-years old, and surrounded by friends. The world is your oyster, and you're literally standing on the precipice of your adult life. It is a time of self-discovery, a time to test limits. Heather, by her own words, and the testament of her parents in the media, was a very strong young woman. She was raised with core values, and had a heart of gold. She knew what it meant to be loved by those who were close to her.

I remember what life was like back then, and I thought I was invincible. I wasn’t fully aware of the true evil that surrounded me, even though my parents thought it lurked around every corner. I have to admit, in retrospect, my father (rest his soul) was right. The world is not a nice place, if you cross paths with the wrong people, or you end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. We here at WebSleuths know that all too well. When I look at this photo of Heather, I wish I could whisper a word of warning into her ear….

Today, we received the news that Law Enforcement has filed murder charges against the perpetrators who have extinguished the life of this beautiful soul - this Moonchild who radiated love and light to all who knew her in her far too short time here on this earth. The fact of the matter is, Heather Rachelle Elvis united people all over the world the moment she lost touch with her family in mid-December.

It was the love of her Father that began this journey towards Justice. The silence of the Task Force was frustrating for the family and the community at large, but it served a purpose. I choose to continue to have faith in the men and women who are diligently working behind the scenes to fulfill justice completely, and complete this family in bringing Heather home where she belongs.

I don’t know if my wish will come to fruition, but I refuse to have anything less than complete faith in the process. That’s just my take on it. There is more than enough negativity to go around in this case from elsewhere.

Heather, I know now that you are a ForeverAngel. You are free to Fly High, and I know you are looking down upon your Family with absolute Love! It is SO bittersweet to know that my faith allows me to believe that you now know everything they’ve done to fight for justice for you, especially your Daddy. He moved Heaven and Earth to find the truth, and he won’t stop until he brings you home….

I've never been one to get my panties in a twist over the age difference between Heather and Sidney (grew up with parents 13 years apart, so I would date a man 15 years my senior and not think twice about it if everything else matched up) but I admit I didn't really think about the fact that Sidney's oldest child is pretty darn close in age to Heather. Again, I don't care so much about the age difference between them with regards to the sexual/romantic relationship...but couldn't he see some of his own children in her, making mistakes, still learning, still growing and changing, so much potential? If he couldn't be a positive force in her life, why couldn't he just leave her the hell alone when things went south? What makes someone think, "You are an inconvenience to me so your life is now worthless." She was SO YOUNG.

This is not anything new; sadly it has been going on since the beginning of time. The 'other woman' in many cases becomes an inconvenience when the man tires of her.

I have been following; but just lurking.
I was so sad to see the new charges. I think TM was the total planner when it came to hurting Heather. Poor Heather, the betrayal she must have felt.
Also, I personally don’t think TM could help herself when it came to posting on social media. She lives to personify her fantasy like life. She is what she tells people, at least in her mind. She will stick to her story and will keep thinking that she is smarter than everyone else. She is a narcissist, and that won’t change.
With that being said; I hope SM with work with LE and do the right thing.

Isn't it possible that Sidney is the manipulative, conniving, smart but lazy one and Tammy is the one who took care of everything because she was made to feel she didn't deserve Sidney ? Not defending her, but after seeing her Disney and high school reunion photos, Tammy has not been the beauty seen in her Facebook photos in quite awhile. IMO..their relationship dynamics can be seen as Tammy being controlling, or Sidney being lazy and manipulating Tammy to feel like she didn't deserve him so she bought his affections ? It appears that everything they have is due to Tammy's family money/property. Their vacations due to Tammy's job. Sidney didn't have to deal with the 9 to 5 grind..not that construction work is easy , but he worked when and as often as he wanted. Not sure how Sidney's tatoo plays into all of this..maybe Tammy has a tatoo of " Sidney" somewhere and the tatoos are the aftermath of previous affairs..a commitment to eachother, like I said not sure how the tatoos fit in.
Since Heather's disappearance, Sidney became invisible and Tammy has been out in the public...could be seen as controlling..could be Tammy trying to clean up after Sidney ? I guess my point is, I think it is possible for Sidney to be the manipulative one.. if so, he is good at it and what a gift for his defense with most everyone convinced Tammy was the mastermind in Heather's disappearance.

Something had to have happened to set this in motion. TM knew about the affair, it was old news. Maybe Sidney did plan on leaving and he did want to be with Heather. This would explain Tammy's anger. What I don't understand is the role SM played in all of this and how could he live with himself since this all went down.

TM has a Photobucket account under the name AtalayaL. Back in October of 2012, she posted photos from that account to a thread about their cruise vacation on the disboards.

Fingerprints and/or DNA located in the house would be easily explained away - with their romantic relationship.

They've stated their affection for guns in prior posts.
However, if there are spent shell casings (which they wouldn't want to leave on the site of the attack) - those spent casings, along with the weapon that perhaps had DNA on it/blood/etc -- that would be necessarily suggestive of an attack resulting in death.

I just can't imagine an excuse that could be created to explain a gun with DNA on it, and spent casings, etc. - that means it was clearly SHOT,JMO
