I firmly believe they would not allow them there IF they figured out something was up. But it could take a few days to figure that out. I'm thinking give me 15 min with a 15 year old girl claiming to be 22 and I'd figure it out, I think most people would.

These types of communities don't want that type of stuff there nor do they want attention from LE.

We would like to think that but I'm sure he will with no prior criminal history, perhaps wear un ankle bracelet but who would bail this guy out unless he uses the house as collateral or perhaps think he is a flight risk. They would take his passport if he has one.

This is also what I am worried about. I cant stand to think that there is a chance he will be able to escape the charges levied against him. Just that quote that he is "Glad its over" tells me this arrogant *advertiser censored* thinks he can go back to his old life like nothing happened and no one suffered but him.

He better not get off easy...

I'd just like to point out some men use Cialis as medication for treatment in having an enlarged prostate causing urine leakage or other prostate problems. There is a misconception it's only use is for ED.

I'm glad this predator is in jail and Elizabeth is alive I hope she recovers from this ordeal and makes a successful future life. I hope he has the decency to plead guilty and saves Elizabeth from testifying against him.

I honestly don't think anyone implied that a man needing a prescription for ED is a pervert.

But as you point out in this case since he got it 3 days before he left makes him suspect.

It's not the rock collecting. It's the fact that she was taken for a deviant motivated crime, on the run with a 50 year old teacher who took her...and collecting rocks. The images are in stark contrast. That's why it's sad to me. She SHOULD be collecting rocks, she's only 15. But she's only 15 and in those circumstances.

We've taken our kids on lots of fantastic road trips. My mom took us on many as well. For some reason, kids (even teens) just tend to collect things "along the way" to remind them of where they've been. I and my siblings did it, and all 7 of our kids did it. It's an innocent, sentimental thing to do. So in a strange, compartmentalized way, I'm actually glad she did that. She was doing something pure, and innocent, and fun - aside from whatever TC's wicked plans were.

Deputies said Cummins was cooperative and one law enforcement member said the former teacher made a spontaneous statement to him reportedly saying, “I’m glad this is over.”

Thomas appeared to be in good health at the time of the rescue. She will receive any care that she may possibly need.

Two loaded handguns were found in the cabin, along with other personal items belonging both to Cummins and Thomas. A couple stolen license plates were also found.

Also in the article it mentions that authorities said it's "obvious" they have a relationship and ET's responses to LE "escalated up and down."

What I was thinking is that the good people who rescued them were wise to be cautious. They could easily have been shot and in a remote area, medical help is probably pretty far away.

Sorry guys, I just got to say this....
I cannot imagine a man being such a pervert that he has to go out and buy Cialis in order for "things to work." I mean why wouldn't he know he has these urges and has enough self control to NOT buy Cialis. I just don't get it.....

Also, HLN was saying TC had represented ET and him as married. HLN is now saying that they were emotionally close. They are saying he had ET wrapped around his finger.

One more thing, I have a sneaking suspicion that JC takes TC back.

Personally, I find sharing the detail about Cialis distasteful. We already know ET was assaulted. Sharing the detail feels exploitative, especially knowing ET's sister is on these threads. ET has been exploited enough. We can make the connection in our own minds about what the last month has been like for her without sensationalizing the details. My opinion only. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this.

I hope ET is able to return home with the privacy and care she so desperately deserves. Hopefully Elizabeth Smart can be a shoulder for her privately as she heals from the mental mind games played on her.
