Interesting. Especially this part: Pan was last seen in the early morning hours of Thursday, driving with family members in metro Atlanta -- either in Brookhaven or Duluth. The Marshals said that family members said that Pan was carrying a black backpack and acting strange. Do they not know...

from the opening statements, the morning before the abduction: "at noon he responded to a text from his girlfriend, noting 'you dont do the anything casual thing, from breathing to fine dining, to...murder'" WHAT???

what if we are all overthinking the quick kill aspect of this-- I think it is quite possible, and maybe even most likely, that he INTENDED for her to be alive longer, but he killed her by mistake (don't get me wrong, I think that was his eventual goal, but he did it way faster than he planned)...

maybe that is why they presume her dead

Read about this in the NYer and was captivated. I imagine at some point, if she's still alive, she must come out of her fugue?? Also interesting how the article portrayed the relative parents (I won't say more)

it's literally not possible. he wasn't brought to the US as a young child, he wasn't an upstanding educated citizen, etc. Not every young person in the US qualifies as a dreamer...
