Do you remember the Maricopa County's office being flooded with calls from people with "important evidence" that Martinez needed to know? And remember he said thank you but he had everything they needed? That event sure has different meaning now. He truly had everything.

I meant the jury. Maybe the jury had sent a note to JSS asking that? And the court had to confer with counsel?

Maybe that closed door tete a tete with JSS was to ask that, if they were close to a verdict, how late could they announce it?

To further the story, as long as are waiting together, the judge at the end of the trial said he could see that we had taken our verdict really hard. He said that if it appeared that the court and lawyers and staff were not, it was because they went through this day after day, month after...
