This is a question for those of you who have followed other cases. Why haven't the remains been returned to the family? Testing has to be complete. Who has control of remains? Are they still at the lab in Fort Worth or have they been sent to SO in Snyder? The only plausible explanation...

I've lived 60+ years and never had my life threatened. How could threatening to kill someone be an idle comment? A normal, sane person does not threaten to take a loved one's life.
When I was in college (100 yrs ago)' we were required to read a popular book entitled ' the Peter principle'. The short of it is that people are promoted until they reach their level of incompetence. That book always comes to mind when I think of this case. I really think LE just gave up...
It's my understanding that they are being held at the university of north texas science forensic center in the Dallas/fort. worth area. This lab works with the FBI and other LE agencies. Local is not an option. Snyder is a little bittytown, out in the middle of nowhere, with no facilities...
