Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

Until something more gets revealed about this case, there's not much left to say. Every bit of evidence that we are aware of has been rehashed ad nauseam and everyone sees it through their own tint of glasses. For me, it overwhelmingly suggests suicide but I can appreciate others' takes on it too.

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

In that case, why does any cause of death matter to the public? Any other cause of death would have been reported, but in this case the silence surrounding suicide chalks up yet another one to shame and stigma, much to the dismay of everyone else who have also lost loved ones this way. IMO...

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

IMO, if the physical evidence of him in sleepwear was present, it would have been made public. It would have been in everyone's best interest to do so. However, I am almost certain there was a note and that is the reason they were able to determine no foul play right then and there (and the...

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

I wasn't aware his mother actually 'confirmed' anything. Nonetheless, excellent point about the note. It might help explain how this case, for all intents and purposes, was open and closed on the same day with very little said.

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

IMO, nothing is obvious as we were not even given the cause of death. The fact that he was found below his penthouse suite may only be coincidental. I'm not trying to grasp at straws, just saying... All we have to go on is that no foul play was suspected.

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

There may well have been a note and it's just not public knowledge as suicides are not reported to begin with. Speaking of notes, my understanding is only a third or so of victims even leave notes. That aside, IMO the burden of proof lies on the sleepwalking theory.

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

We don't know if there is enough evidence. We haven't been told. IMO if the physical evidence, ie: in sleepwear, etc. pointed toward a sleepwalking mishap, it would have been made public [and why wouldn't family want this made public?] and this conversation would have ended weeks ago. The...

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

I agree. In this case there are a bunch of reasons it would be useful information know what really happened. This has been a respectable discussion so far but to say it "doesn't matter" isn't helpful. After all this forum IS called web-"sleuths" which assumes people here are looking for the truth.

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

I totally get your empathy with this situation and I have had a child with his own health concerns so I understand. As terrible as this is for everyone close to Chris, the sleepwalking theory as a cause of death is also speculation. And now that it's been brought up I think the public...

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

When the sleepwalking theory emerged, it immediately struck me that his body location of 12 or 13 feet from the side of the building looked more like someone who took a "leap" rather than just fell off the edge in his sleep, IF in fact a fall is what killed him. In my mind, the sleepwalking...

Chris Hyndman of Steven and Chris has died

I'm not convinced it was a suicide, but I don't believe the sleepwalking theory either. If family and CBC are so anxious to have us believe it was a sleepwalking accident, why not have the coroner's office divulge enough evidence, ie: wearing pajamas, to at least corroborate this theory and...
