Because the sketch and description of her kidnapper were so far off base, it seems intentional.

I only started reading about this after Abigail was home safe, but it sounds like a straight-out kidnapping with Stockholm syndrome. And, I'm guessing Abbie's captor made her swear some kind of an oath in return for letting her go, so she's conflicted in helping the prosecution.

That's really bizarre and sad. It seems like he feels guilt for not getting help for his baby sister, and so he created this fictitious child in trouble, so he could call for help.

As I understand it, at first the little girl couldn't talk, because her mouth was swollen so badly. But now they are saying a little boy at the top of the slide kicked her in the face, repeatedly, until she fell to the ground, crying. The school will only admit she fell off the slide.

I'm not sure what to make of this story, or where to put it. Wondering what you all think. My first reaction is horror and anger, on behalf of this little girl, and her mother. Most importantly, I want to make sure something is done. I also had a few questions, and it seems some of the outlets...
