Why do you think he told taxi man that he just killed someone? He wante dto hurry out the place but to confess that. Don't get that.
And remember when he was telling a detailed story to that journalist a while back in a car about killing NH? It seemed as if he was proud telling about it.
John Ludwick said on NG that he watched the NH story on T.V. with Joran...that was sick. Just think about the stories he told John Ludwick when they watched.

Didn't we hear at some point about that store not being open that morning? The Mini Mart thingy place...didn't Jean C. find that out? Wait, maybe she said they didn't have a video there.......I am so dang sick of this coffee carp....I feel like I have been in a game and there is a piece missing to solve some puzzle and it is just maddening,lol.

Ospina is suspected of previously killing Argentinian Nora Dalmasso. Ospina allegedly left his DNA under Fefer's fingernails which led to his extradition to Peru. Similar evidence was involved in Dalmasso' case.

Ospina also has extortion in common with Joran. Ospina extorted an attorney for $1,000 in exchange for not killing him.

I will try not to mention coffee again but what would be the reason for holding that video back if they are? That was pretty sharp of them if they are 'cause there is bound to be a reason and a good one....surely the hotel people have seen these videos....but it sure has not been leaked....heck if I lived over there I would not leak anything either......I would not want anything to do with even the mention of a crime in that country...they don't play when they punish.

I suppose I should use IMO but I was convinced after watching this video posted earlier today. I suppose one could make a topic and poll about it because it didn't appear that way to a couple other posters. I tend to let others develop their own opinions. From earlier today..

I may be way off the mark on this, since I know nothing about playing casino poker, let alone cheating at it! I know initially there were rumors about him and Stephany running a scam, but they have all been discounted as far as I can tell. Has anyone else been suspicious about this?

I'm getting more suspicious yes and I'm not a poker player either. Thanks for the video, video is my game. I notice at the .57 second mark the camera switches to an overhead shot briefly. I can see her shake his hand and he clasp something, then moves his hand over his chips and releases. It does appear she gave him a chip, now I'm wondering what the value was of that chip.

Didn't ya love hearing on LK tonight the atty speaking of the peruvian prisons, that Joran better find as friend on the outside there, because he will need someone to bring him suitable food to eat. No friends on outside there! So he will have no choice than to eat slop with insects...YULK!!!

I am getting dizzy with all of that and the translating. But you made a good hunch. I recall that one of the two women was strangled with an article of clothing (ring a bell?). I think it was a belt.

I am finding it too much now to go back and verify the method for both of these 2 victims. But your sleuthing hunch was all too keen!

You know I was wondering the same thing earlier today about whether he had a cell phone in his possession when he was apprehended. Almost EVERYONE has a cell phone and I thought it was strange that nothing has been mentioned.

From what I have read about the case I believe that I have came across that Stephany had a cell phone and even used it the night before/morning of her murder. I would think that would be something Joran would have stolen from her along with the credit cards/money etc.
 
Oh and RE Juran and Ospina. The FBI also got involved in one of Ospina's murders--the Argentinian woman, Nora Dalmasso.

Then there is the issue--how many more might there be for each?

I had to look at your link about him before logging off,lol....I believe it said he used (Ospina) her computer cord to strangle her...and whoever said they don't hide things is correct...there was a picture of her........ugh....they don't mince words or pictures....He is not as old either as I imagined...oh well on that lovely visual I am off....Thanks everybody.

Thank you for the link to the video.

My opinion, the first one looks like a "brother" handshake, sideways. [I don't know what that is really called. It is where you clasp each others thumbs. I think it was associated with the Black Power movement in the 1960s or 1970s. Nothing intended about the history of the handshake. I am just trying to find a way to describe it.]

The 2nd one does look like she hands him off a chip. But why would she need to sneak it to him? To keep up his machismo self-image? Was this video during the tournament or just a pickup hand of poker that night?

Well on Monday the 21st he has to testify in front of the judge. The judge will go to the jail because it is such a high profile case.
