Duh on me ... blame it on not enough coffee yet!

I thought you meant you had gone to see her in court this morning!

I was here too when she was posting fast and furious ... she can come up with a story to suit her need in a blink! No way she doesn't know what she is doing.

I bet she can't sit through the trial and keep her mouth shut ... pity her lawyer he must feel like he is going in circles because her stories change every time she turns around. Should be interesting to say the least!

Dorice Donegan "Dee Dee" Moore understands the charges against her "reasonably and rationally," Circuit Judge E. Lamar Battles said at a hearing Monday.

"I'm going to accept the fact of her being completely lucid and without psychosis," Battles said. "She is competent to proceed and we will proceed."

Jury selection for Moore's trial begins next week.

I sure wish that I could be at the trial every single day but I have to work. My husband will be there though. I sure hope she gets everything she deserves. Do any of the local people know if Bay News 9 will have her trial on their demand channel? I plan on attending the last day but can't attend everyday. But, I would love to see her face everyday.

Woman faces trial in death of Lakeland lottery winner

The nearly six hours of videotaped interviews will be played in court for jurors when Moore's murder trial gets under way this week. Jury selection begins today.

Moore's attorneys filed a motion to suppress the footage, but Circuit Judge Emmett Lamar Battles ruled it was admissible, saying Moore voluntarily spoke to detectives and wasn't pressured into talking.

Moore, 40, is charged with first-degree murder and illegal wiretapping in the slaying of Shakespeare, a Lakeland man who became a local celebrity after winning a $30 million jackpot in 2006.

good article

Can't wait to see her go down!!

imo

A ton of info in this article from 2009, great read and recap!!

On Feb. 9, she became the primary manager of Abraham Shakespeare LLC, taking over his affairs and buying the debts people owed him, meaning the people who owed Shakespeare money — eight people, almost $600,000 — now owe that money to her.

On Feb. 13, she got divorced, ending a 17-year marriage to a man with a fill dirt company.

And here is something she did back in 2001:

She drove the new $36,000 Lincoln Navigator on which she owed $46,000 and parked it in a garage in Pasco County. She got an accomplice to tie her up, take her to Wimauma and throw her in a ditch. Then she told a passer-by who stopped to help that she had been raped at gunpoint by three Hispanic men who stole her Navigator.

She was convicted of insurance fraud and falsely reporting a crime. She got a year of probation.

There is a lot of national interest in this trial I can't believe it is not being live streamed...In sessions said they would be carrying it live, but that is not happening..

I too am hoping that one of the news outlets will stream it online once the jury selection is done but I don't see any signs of it yet.

Watching DeeDee try to sit there and keep her mouth shut will be priceless to watch!

Another good recap article with current info as well.

Abraham Shakespeare lottery winner murder trial of Dee Dee Moore starts today

Paying Someone to Take the Rap

During this trial, we should hear from an informant who is a key to the case.

The man says Dee Dee Moore turned to him hoping to get his help covering up this crime.

Months after Shakespeare was last seen alive, detectives were focusing on Moore as their suspect.

Desperate and scared, deputies say Moore turned to an acquaintance of hers named Greg Smith, who was not involved in the original crime.

According to investigators, Moore asked for Smith's help concealing the murder.

What a mistake for her.

She had no idea Smith was already signed up as a sheriff's informant. Smith was working with detectives on a mission to get close to Moore and get her to spill some secrets.

Dee Dee Moore: Prosecution releases extensive evidence in lotto winner murder case

An informant interview with one of Shakespeare's closest friends, Judy Haggins, seems to show how she worked with Moore to possibly scheme Shakespeare when she revealed, "When Abraham got ready to go to the bank one day to see his money, [Moore] immediately called me on the phone and says, 'You gotta stall him, Judy, he can't go to the bank.'"

I've been looking for any signs of a live feed but nothing so far.

any decent tweets we can follow from inside the courtroom?

I'm not sure how long the jury selection will take. But, the sherrif's department will be picking up Abraham's mother and she was told that they would call her Tuesday or Wednesday to let her know when that would be.

I wish I could be there everyday.

I too am hoping that one of the news outlets will stream it online once the jury selection is done but I don't see any signs of it yet.

I live in Tampa, I just may have to go to hear the pros opening if it is not live streamed...she is on evil woman.

I follow this site for twitter feeds when I can't find a specific person tweeting.
Just type in Dee Dee Moore at the top then add column.
