Tunica Police need help finding a woman who has been missing from her Tunica home since February 3, 2008.

Tunica Police say Doris Butler, 44, was last seen by her mother who says Butler caught a ride to A & H Grocery with an unknown person.

Anyone with information on Butler's whereabouts is asked to call Tunica Police at (662) 363-2400.

The Tunica County sheriff confirmed today the skeletal remains of a woman found June 12 alongside McKinney Bayou are those of Doris Butler.

Butler, 44, was reported missing on Feb. 7. Her body was discovered by a farmer.

The Sheriffs Department is investigating Butlers death as a homicide, county spokesman Larry Liddell said today in a written statement.
