FL FL - Terrance Williams, 27, & Felipe Santos, 23, Collier Co, 2003 & 2004

From your link:

According to sheriff's records, former sheriff's Cpl. Steven Henry Calkins gave a ride to each man to a different convenience store in North Naples.

So he was seen arresting the one guy for a suspended license and then says he dropped him off at a convience store? The should check how many other guys he says he dropped att convience stores. And check the time frame around them.
This guy, if guilty, is a serial killer.

Nothing new happening on this case? Yes, they should check that cop out up one side and down the other. He thinks because he is a cop that he can get away with murder.....I hope he isn't right.

Wonder how many other people ran into this Calkins guy that we don't even know about. I wonder if there are any other missing people in that area.

Sounds like there may have been 2 bad apples in that barrel but at the least someone should be looking into all his past activities. Sounds like a serial killer may have donned a uniform as a hunting license.

Still no answers about men last seen with deputy

Man attended party in Bonita Springs night before he vanished

Marcia Roberts is haunted by her only child.

She used to clutch a dreadlock from the head of her missing 27-year-old son while sifting online for clues.

She used to watch “Unsolved Mysteries” in her East Naples apartment in hopes of triggering her mind into unlocking what happened to her son. He’s been gone more than two years.

And she doesn’t know where he is, or was. If he’s alive or dead.

But her answering machine has remained the same since the questions started:

“Whatever is now covered up will be uncovered and every secret will be made known, Matthew Chapter 10, verses 26 through 28.

“Terrance Williams has been missing since January the 12th, 2004. The family would like to thank you for your continued prayers and your thoughts and acts of kindness.”

Missing Since: October 1, 2003 from Naples, Florida
Classification: Endangered Missing
Date Of Birth: January 1, 1979
Age: 24 years old
Height: 5'7
Weight:150 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Hispanic (Mexican) male. Black hair, brown eyes. Santos wore his hair in a ponytail at the time of his disappearance.
He is a Mexican citizen and speaks limited English.
Some agencies give his date of birth as May 26, 1980.

Details of Disappearance:
Santos was last seen in Naples, Florida on October 1, 2003. He was driving to work with two of his brothers when, at 6:30 a.m., his white 1988 Ford hit another vehicle near the Green Tree Shopping Center at Airport-Pulling Road and Immokalee Road. No one was hurt in the accident and damage to the cars was minor. A Collier County sheriff's deputy, Corporal Steven Henry Calkins, arrived at the scene and cited Santos for reckless driving and for driving without a license or insurance. He then put Santos in the patrol car and drove away.

Later that day, Santos's boss contacted the local jail to bail him out and found out he had never been booked. When questioned, Calkins said he had changed his mind about taking Santos to jail and had instead given him a ride to a Circle K convenience store about a mile away from the site of the accident. He last saw him walking towards the pay phones. Santos has never been heard from again. After his disappearance, his brother filed a complaint against Calkins with the sheriff's office, but Calkins was quickly cleared of any wrongdoing.

Oddly, Calkins was also the last person to see Terrance Williams, who disappeared in January 2004, a month after Calkins was exonerated in the Santos case. Calkins says he dropped Williams off at a Circle K convenience store in Naples....

Missing answer? Monday marks 5 years since man with Collier deputy disappeared

A poster declaring Terrance Williams missing has been circulated by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, since shortly after the man’s disappearance, five years ago as of Monday, Jan. 12, 2009.

NAPLES — It’s been five years since Marcia Williams last spoke with her son.

It’s been half a decade since they last went to a movie together; half a decade since she last took him out to eat. It’s been five years since Terrance Williams last joked with his mother while they were at the mall that he couldn’t be seen with her, lest the other girls think she was his girlfriend.

“You know, some days are good, and some days I just can’t shake it,” Marcia Williams, 49, said. “I can’t shake it for nothing in the world. I can’t let go of it.”

Monday is the five-year anniversary of the day Terrance Williams disappeared -- poof -- vanishing into thin air.

Wow. I just watched Terrance's story on Disappeared. I hadn't heard of his case previously, so I was shocked at the end to find out that Calkins was never arrested or charged, especially in light of Felipe Santos vanishing exactly the same way a few months earlier (right down to allegedly being dropped off at the same Circle K). There were just so many documented inconsistencies and flat-out lies... I got the chills listening to his taped phone calls with dispatch. I literally felt sick to my stomach when he called dispatch back to run a background check on Terrance 20 minutes after calling to say that the vehicle was abandoned and he hadn't made contact with the driver. I hope the show brings in some new leads, these two men deserve justice.

I missed the very end of the episode...did they say a body was found where close to where Felipe was last "seen" but DNA testing has not been completed yet? Thanks in advance!

Does someone know if this Doe has been checked against Felipe Santos?

http://doenetwork.org/cases/1322umfl.html

If not, then would someone know how to send it so that it gets checked? I would imagine they have checked all of these type of things, but they do really match each other. This person was found in a rural area. I wonder what rural areas the cop went into when he was being tracked??

Good find, I dont see on Namus where he was ever ruled out
https://identifyus.org/en/cases/564

However, he was missing before their estimated timeframe. Never know though. You have a hispanic male in the right age group and within the estimated height in Collier Co where Felipe went missing that hasnt been id'd and you have Felipe Santos missing 2 yrs before.

BTW, https://identifyus.org/en/cases/564 lists a t-shirt with a phone # for Pravco (727)368-0800. This is Pinellas Co and there is not a pravco listed in all of Fl on sunbiz, the phone# is a private residence googling.

There is a Pravco in NJ that's ph# is732-388-0800 They install solar panels and heir subcontracters/contracters. It is also possible that they got the # wrong from the tee shirt because of decomposition of the shirt.# is simular.

I saw this show Dissapeared with talked a little about Felipe Santos. At the end they said they found a buried remains and were doing DNA to find out if it was Santos. Wondering how I can find out when those results will be available?
