GUILTY NC - Lynn Jackenheimer, 33, murdered, Hatteras Island, 3 July 2012

She also posted a pic from July 3rd of herself and her daughter (taken from behind as they're walking down a boardwalk/pier next to water.)
Patrol were searching for Lynn Jackenheimer, 33. Investigators in Ashland, OH contacted deputies in reference to a missing person who was reportedly last seen in the Salvo area of Hatteras Island on July 4.

This says she was last seen on the 4th?

From the article: "He basically said that some harm had come to Lynn and she was not coming back," Schorr told WAVY.com. "We don't know where he is, he ditched his cell phone. So basically he's on the run and we are very concerned about her well being."

(First mention I've heard of what the incriminating statements contained. )

Also, MSM has reported that the children were dropped off at
1.the brother of Summerfield
2. The childrens grandparents
3. a family friend.

*sigh

Lynn Jackenheimer had a protection order against Nathan Summerfield at one point, but it was no longer active.

I don't think it is necessary just yet. Let's check Oregon.

Given that he then took the kids home to safety (thank God!), I'm guessing it was probably unplanned/an argument that escalated -- likely after the kids were asleep, if the 13 year old can't report anything more than the last day she saw her mother.

He is a monster for killing her but thank God he didn't kill the kids too.

That's an Instagram photo...so, there's an Instagram account out there somewhere. I haven't been able to find it just yet.

911 Call from brother

Jake Summerfield told police dispatchers he briefly saw his brother Nate Summerfield Sunday. WAVY.com obtained the complete 911 call. On it, Jake told the dispatcher, "My brother was in North Carolina with his ex-girlfriend and he came back and he said he strangled her. He dropped his kid off and left."

This info comes from the Dare County Sheriff's Dept., who got a copy of the 911 call from Ashland, OH police.

Just listened to brothers 911 call and now is clear why the inconsistency about where the kids were dropped off...inthe call he states he is the brother of NS and he wants to report a possible murder.. he says his brother went with his ex girlfriend and kids to NC and that he just got back to Ohio and dropped the kids off with him(N's brother) who was at their(as in nate&brothers) parents home(ie. Grandparents to the 3yr old and as some articles were reporting) ..he says his brother told him that he strangled LJ in NC and his brother took off after having dropped the two kids there at the grandparents home which is where the 911 call is made.
