She seems like she is holding herself up pretty well. I f it were me, I would be in a panic mode.

Watching on WESH ... camera on a "very chatty" ICA and her new DT mitigation specialist ...

ANY LIP READERS ???

I thought I saw KC say "My mom" but that's about it. Looks like they're using breaks to get their GA and CA ducks in a row so the bus can run them down.

Don't count this woman out. The fact remains that she has not heard the evidence.

I can't remember if she has children, or if she is a grandmother...or for that matter if her own mother is still living.

Trust me when I say that older people are NOT going to like hearing how Casey Anthony acted after her daughter went missing, nor will they like hearing about how she stole from her ailing grandmother!

This woman could be the very first to raise her hand for guilty!
They never asked. Now there probably is some info on her questionnaire but it seems they have asked all the others. I found it interesting - the lack of questioning of this pj and omitted questions that were asked of others.

Clearly the state was not prepared to elaborate as to why they wanted her gone, so I believe they were using a p. strike, and did not think they would need to explain. So my question is, can a judge disallow a p. strike and if so, can the state try again with this juror, as long as they have a better prepared reason? Or is judge sold on this one?

Anyone notice the juror (young 32 year old woman) said she never heard about the case, not one word; then when asked if she would like to be in the jury, she said "yes". Baez said why and she said "it has always interested me".

She was not challenged.

Whoa ... they are way behind on their news coverage.

I first read the "news" about Rosalie Bolin being on the DT right here at WS 3 days ago ! :great:

By the way ... did Fox News mention that RB is married to a "serial killer" ? :loser:

Oooops...had the initials wrong....yes, they talked about who RB is. I hadn't seen the report before. Sorry for posting old news.

What you saw was a challenge which the Judge denied. The SA can move to strike but I guess they didn't want to use one.

We will see if she passes the next round.

I disagree. The State tried to use their strike. The strike request has been denied.

Any other lawyers on her right now? I want their opinions on this last lady. My long-term confidence about this case is now wavering.

An an attorney, I see this last lady as the one who could lead to a mistrial.
When people do not understand something, they will discount it when making a decision. She will like CM's folksy manner. She will like JB and the way he calls her "Miss." She will think casey looks too young and sweet to have murdered her kid.

Now I'm really worried. I would have done everything I could to make sure she's not on the jury. Oh boy.

I have a comment about ICA and RM but I guess I better go to the chat room before I get a TO :innocent:

You can, but we are not there yet. The strikes happen in the final round.

The defense just used a peremptory strike against the potential juror who lied about his DUI, Baez didnt want to waste one of them (they only get 10) and wanted the Judge to excuse him for cause, the judge refused and Baez opted to use one of his peremptory strikes because it looked pretty obvious that the guy had a lot of interest in crime and killers and wasnt fit to be on a jury.

The State should have asked her if she knew what a Mass Spectrometer was. I think HHJP would have changed his mind. I think he's getting desperate to seat a jury, too desperate.

Is it something that measures how many people are attending a Mass? Or how many people are attending a rally? :floorlaugh: A mass of spectators meter?
