I tried googling 'Kiesha Abrahams' and only blogs come up. BUT...when I google Kiesha Weippeart, that's when I get all the news results. (no updates though)

She has her daddy's name back and I'm thrilled!!!

Accused ask to leave jail for funeral of Kiesha Weippeart

Family of accused killers Kristi Abrahams and Robert Smith yesterday revealed the pair had indicated they would like to be allowed to publicly farewell the little girl when her funeral is held towards the end of the month.

However, the girl's biological father Chris Weippeart said "hell would freeze over" before Abrahams and Smith would be welcomed at the funeral of his only daughter.

Give me strength!! :banghead: As far as I'm concerned KA and RS gave up all rights as parents when they murdered Kiesha! They have absolutely no right to attend Kiesha's funeral! Leave them sitting in jail until they face court and a jury of their peers for the murder of Kiesha.

From his hospital bed in western Sydney yesterday, where he is being treated for complications associated with his diabetes, Mr Weippeart vowed to do whatever he could to stop the pair from being able to attend the funeral.

"My family are the ones left to deal with all of this and arrange the best send-off for Kiesha that she deserves, and, I'm telling you, they are not coming."

I'm really worried about Chris. He looked so fragile in the last photo that was published after the announcement of Kiesha's remains being found. And now he's back in hospital again.

IMO, the request to attend the funeral should be denied based on the security risk it would create for the inmates and the funeral would turn into a media circus with protestors etc. Kiesha deserves a farewell that is all about her, not the people accused of her murder.

Kiesha Weippeart's funeral is off-limits for accused mother and stepfather

THE mother and stepfather of Kiesha Weippeart, who have been charged with her murder, will not attend her funeral.

New South Wales Corrective Services Commissioner Ron Woodham yesterday announced that the pair would not be allowed out of custody for the funeral.

The pair had told friends they were intending to apply for leave to attend the funeral of six-year-old Kiesha.

Mr. Woodham said neither had applied to attend the funeral. "There is a process for inmates to apply for escorted day leave, however in this case it would be denied," he said.

Did they not think those same people would be at the funeral?

It's not like they would be sent with an army to protect them...

Maybe that was the idea... suicide by Kiesha's Angels?

Robert accompanied Kristi to visit Kiesha’s gravesite on her Birthday so I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised to hear Kristi and Robert told family they wanted to attend her funeral.

Neither Kristi or Robert made a formal request to attend so they likely realized their request wouldn’t be granted so they didn’t bother to file.

Kiesha wouldn’t want her mother and stepfather to attend her funeral IMO so Chris and the Justice System are protecting and fulfilling Kiesha's wishes by prohibiting them from attending.

There is a very good possibility Chris hasn’t seen or talked with Kristi Abrahams after she reported Kiesha “missing” so can you imagine how her presence would affect Chris if she and Robert showed up at Kiesha’s funeral? Kristi and Robert never had an ounce of respect for Chris and if they seriously wanted to attend the funeral without considering the impact their presence would have on Chris, it proves they still don’t IMO.

Robert’s mother is something else isn’t she? Is Mrs. Smith suggesting because Robert and Kristi "raised Kiesha" and Chris didn’t, they have the right to attend her funeral and the heck with how their presence will affect Chris and everyone else in attendance?

You would think Mrs. Smith and other family members would make Robert and Kristi understand why attending Kiesha’s funeral isn’t possible and drop it but instead outside the remand centre, Mrs. Smith made a fool out of herself when she told a reporter "I think they should be allowed to go ... they are innocent until proven guilty”.

If I were him I would as long as they stopped talking.

If they keep talking about how the people who led cops to the child's well hidden body are innocent until proven guilty... then I'd have an issue with it.

I don't know about Chris. I think Kiesha's maternal family would be more likely to be welcome than her mother's boyfriend's family. But he just might not have it in him to deal with any of them... and they might just have to hold their own funeral if they care enough, they will do so.
 
Did LE say which body parts they found of Kiesha's? Did they go in and thoroughly search the area she was buried in? Did LE find her skull?

Will the recovered body parts be listed in the Autopsy Report and when will it be released? Will we have access to it?

LE said DNA testing was required to identify Kiesha. Did they say what they conducted the test on?

In the photo included in the interview “Our Kiesha is alive and well, say mum and stepfather”, the word on the front of Kristi’s t-shirt looks like it spells “HITLER”!

It doesn’t look like Robert is touching Kristi on her shoulder or back so I wonder if Robert physically abused Kristi too?

PLUMPTON filmmaker Saad Adam will abandon his documentary, The Disappearance of Kiesha Abrahams out of respect for Kiesha Weippeart’s family.
In February this year, Adam announced that he would make a film about the disappearance of the six-year-old Mt Druitt girl, whose remains were found in a shallow grave in Bidwill on April 22.

According to Channel 7, prosecutors will also rely on alleged comments made by Abrahams as she watched news coverage of missing Australian girl Zahra Baker, whose body was found in bushland in North Carolina.

This sickens me to my core! What kind of animal could do this to this beautiful little girl? Which one of them threw Kiesha against the wall? And what in hell did Kristi have to say about Zahra who wasn't murdered and dismembered until September of last year? These pigs don't deserve to call themselves Australians! They are nothing more than rabid animals who should be put down for the safety of all of those around them. :sick:

MURDERED girl Kiesha Weippeart's stepfather and mother took other people into bushland where her shallow grave was located just before they were arrested, it will be alleged.

A statement of police evidence against Kiesha's mother Kristi Abrahams, 28, and stepfather Robert Smith, 31, reveals police will allege Smith indicated a shallow grave site to the people.

It will also be alleged that Abrahams' and Smith's communications included a text message between the pair the night before they reported Kiesha missing, when they told police they were together with their children - including Kiesha - watching the movie The Golden Compass. Neither Abrahams nor Smith could explain the text.

Initially Police alleged Kiesha disappeared between July 20-July 27th, 2010 but now they believe she died one week earlier on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010. Kristi gave birth to her son in the hospital one week earlier on July 7th, 2010.

I didn’t find the exact day of Robert Smith's and Kristi Abraham’s next scheduled Court appearance which will be sometime in June. Nor have I found any information on when Kiesha’s funeral will take place pending the release of her remains.

As the search for the western Sydney girl entered its third day today, police said they were puzzled no-one except her parents appeared to have seen Kiesha in the last three weeks.

Robert, or whoever it was that threw Kiesha against the wall, may claim they did not intend to kill Kiesha which would potentially reduce the charge from first degree murder to manslaughter. They might claim when Kiesha misbehaved at bedtime they hit her but didn&#8217;t intend to kill her so her death was &#8216;accidental&#8217;.

Police claim Kiesha's body was hid in the home for 4 days after her death and Police involved in Robert Manwill's case claim his body was hid in a closest in Daniel Ehrlick's apartment where Robert died of injuries he sustained from beatings inflicted upon him over a span of approximately 3 weeks.

These &#8216;other people&#8217; must be Robert and Kristi&#8217;s relatives. Police stated awhile ago others may face charges so if LE have proof others knew where Kiesha&#8217;s parents buried her remains, so why haven&#8217;t LE pressed charges against them? If LE want to offer them immunity in exchange for their testimony during the trial, could this be why?

This is murder, period. I really hate that somehow they will say "accident" or "hash parenting" (aka, ABUSE), ... seeing blood flow out of a child's ears after you threw them into a wall, then putting them in the shower as a relieve all....


Is "right and wrong" that hard to tell now days?
