School committee meeting on Wednesday. On the 4 month anniversary of Phoebe's death...notice all the "4"'s? Wonder what the astrology peeps would think of this...
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - The South Hadley School Committee meets tomorrow night, but there's no posted agenda on the town website.

Outspoken South Hadley Concerned parent Luke Gelinas told 22News he's hoping for a large turnout of parents and a call for the School Committee to take a stand on the Phoebe prince suicide and bullying investigation.

Well, Lawrence, I'm so excited I'm going to bed early...lol...I'll be full of vigor in the a.m...or at least not as tired as usual. ;)

Have a good night, bud....:)

This will probably be a good glimpse into just how much down coverup land the school administrative structure is inclined to go. I am prepared to be underwhelmed at the reports on what transpires.

I agree. What they don't say/do may be just as important as what they do!

Good morning lovelies!

Spoke about this last night with my husband. I got all emotional and teary eyed. I hope something good comes out of this today. Just wish we could all be there.

Good morning, waddup, good morning to all our Phoebe posters! :)

Just woke up and checking for news. I'm hoping sanity prevails in South Hadley, although I have my doubts. Some seem determined to live in a fantasy world where Gus Sayer and Dan Smith AREN'T idiots. We'll see. IMO

What time is the meeting tonight?

reposting this on this thread...

IMO: I THINK what has happened is the school committee has pulled a fast move. They needed to stop O'Brien, they saw what an effect O'Brien was having as the unofficial spokesperson for the Prince's. Dr. Phil was crushing for them, I'd bet, yet so good for the Princes. They we're able get Phoebe's story out there without having to commit to it being OFFICIALLY from them. If the Princes had an qualms about O'Brien acting as their unofficial spokesperson, I'd bet they would have spoke up.

So...the school committee calls the Prince's Attorney and asks if O'Brien is the spokesperson. Naturally, imo...the attorney said, no. So, they call him an impersonator! Smooth but transparent, to me. They want to cut his support off before the meeting tonight. Shameful, imo.

SOUTH HADLEY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Critics spoke out for the resignation of school officials at South Hadley High school at a crowded and heated school committee meeting on Wednesday night.

speakers who went before the committee calling for the resignation of Superintendent Gus A. Sayer and Principal Daniel T. Smith were cut off by School Committee Chairman Edward J. Boisselle and then escorted out by police.

People also spoke in support of the superintendent and principal, saying "South Hadley needs to heal."
Critics we're essentially DRAGGED OUT BY POLICE...

Where did we hear today that South Hadley needs to "heal"? OH, Yes! at that staged rally!! IMO

The three girls who initiated this rally told us why they thought it was important to do this, “We wanted to have this rally to support ourselves, support our community, everybody, and just make a positive experience out of it all and make everybody heal from this.”
3 girls...Maybe...Betty? Shae? And who?

Here's another link regarding the rally:

I was surprised to see a particular student there, as her name (whether fairly or unfairly) has been associated with the bullies to some extent.

WHY was someone escorted out by police? For daring to mention the name "Prince"!

It was against the rules! Even NOW...Phoebe is silenced. IMO

During the meeting, held at South Hadley High School, Boisselle ejected at least two people, including parent Luke T. Gelinas, saying he said broke rules that asked speakers not to mention the Princes out of consideration for he family.

I doubt they based their decision on the feelings of Phoebe's family. Personally, I think they were trying to save face. Why can't they just call a spade a spade?

Jeez-o-flippin-flip! (that's Daisy cursing) :furious:

Boisselle's resigning...
SOUTH HADLEY -- Nine days after being reelected, the South Hadley School Committee chairman -- entrenched in criticism over an alleged bullying-related high school student suicide -- announced Wednesday night that he is stepping down from the post.

Edward J. Boisselle, who has served on the board for the past 10 years, including the last year as chairman, was quick to distance the move from being related to the ongoing controversy raised when prosecutors recently said some high school staff knew 15-year-old Phoebe Prince was being harassed by classmates, but did not take action to stop the bullying.

Instead, Boisselle, said at Wednesday night's school board meeting that his action was because, “I’ve always felt that the chairmanship should rotate every year.” Boisselle will remain on the School Committee.

A split, standing-room-only crowd of local residents addressed school officials Wednesday night, expressing both anger and support toward the administrators during a meeting that saw multiple outbursts, including two the first speakers who were removed by police at Boisselle’s request. He said they were kicked out because they “talked about things that should not be talked about in public.”

What's even worse, imo...they hold their bogus rally and then forbid anyone from standing up and speaking out for Phoebe...on the 4 month anniversary of her death. These people are beyond the pale...someone should do some genetic research in this area. ;) IMO
