Kristina and her live-in boyfriend, Christopher Mittendorf, disappeared after going shopping on July 27, 2006. The clothes they bought on the shopping trip were found in their apartment, but they have never been heard from again.
Their vehicle was found locked and abandoned 5 days later near a pond in central Tennessee, 50-60 miles from their home. Some of their belongings were inside the car. A witness said they got in a white car and drove away. Foul play is suspected.
