WELCOME Wonderment!!! I dropped the ball on greeting you earlier....

What about
Megan Elizabeth Tinsley?

Well we know who ever dropped her off was very familiar with the area...

Thanks, there hasn't been much more since the recovery of her body two weeks ago, so I'll troll around to see if there are more details. Claire Fiorentino struck me, since she has been missing since Fall. That area's pretty well travelled and I'm trying to remember when MnDOT might've last done work around that area (she would've been discovered before then.)
We don't know if she was "dropped off" or if she really was someone who was part of the homeless down in that area. I went to school pretty close to there and LE is right, there are a bunch of encampments.

I would imagine that they're doing DNA and trying to match it. Is it typical for them to release NO iinformation for some time like this?

Thanks for the welcome, BTW, I'm just starting to navigate here and am overwhelmed but the number of people missing, unidentified. But I am so grateful that there are people like you who would be trying to help if I was one of the Lost.

She has been identified. I didn't find any info on Erica as having been reported missing anywhere.

Body found on I-394 was that of a 19-year-old woman

Last update: May 14, 2010 - 6:27 AM

The body found last month along Interstate 394 in Minneapolis has been identified as that of a 19-year-old woman.

But the mystery isn't over as the cause and manner of Erica Rose Murphy's death were undetermined.

According to a paid death notice in Friday's Star Tribune, she had been missing since August, when she was 18. A visitation is planned at 4 p.m. Friday at O.E. Larson-Osborne Mortuary, 2301 Central Av. NE. in Minneapolis. Funeral services were set for Saturday in Hayward, Wis.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office listed no permanent address for Murphy, identifying her as an American Indian.

When Minnesota Department of Transportation workers found her body on April 28 along the eastbound lanes between Penn Avenue and Dunwoody Boulevard, police had said it appeared to have been there for a long time. Minneapolis homicide investigators were called to the scene.

On Thursday night, police spokesman Sgt. William Palmer had no further information on the status of the investigation in Murphy's death.

Thank you, Aloix.
Odd circumstance that she wasn't listed as missing on some of the websites sleuthers use, but she was from a more remote area on a reservation. This is a quote from the AP story, I found it posted on another site:
The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office said May 13 the woman was Erica Rose Murphy from the village of New Post on the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Reservation. It says the cause and manner of her death are undetermined.
I'm sad about the whole thing and I hope that her family can have a small bit of piece in burying her and celebrating her life with a funeral.
