Alexandria ("Ali") is 5'2" tall and weighs 145 lbs. Fair complexion with auburn hair and hazel eyes and braces on both upper and lower teeth. Her birthdate is Feb. 3, 1994. ( See: http://www.lrcf.net/missing/1551/1551.html )

She was last heard from by a friend whom she called after getting off the school bus at her home last Sunday (04/26/10). She told the friend she'd misplaced her house key and was going to walk to work and never showed up there.

Immediately after school, earlier in the afternoon, Ali was seen by a schoolmate in the company of two as yet unidentified, young females -- one thin and blond -- at a burger joint across the street from her high school; however, it is confirmed that she did get off the school bus at her regular "home" stop thereafter.

Within an hour of the same time, exactly 10 days before Ali's disappearance, another girl, Chasity Armstrong, who is very close in general description to Ali, was reported missing from Katy TX (another, close-by suburb of Houston). ( See: http://www.lrcf.net/missing/1550/1550.html )

In fact, there are at least 2 (more, if you go back a year or so) other young women in the same age group who have been reported missing from western, southwestern and southern suburbs of Houston just since January 2010.

Welcome FlowerLady and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thank-you for your kind words, fhc...

One small correction to my original post:

Ali disappeared on a Monday, of course, not a Sunday as stated above. I regret any confusion my error may have caused.

Alexandria did not pick up her paycheck from her after-school job, show up at friend's 16th birday party that she helped organize or show up for her softball team's important tournament game. She texted approx. 4,000 message/mo. on her cellphone but did not take the charger with her and there has been absolutely no activity on her MySpace or FaceBook accounts. Despite listing her as a "runaway", Laura Recovery is saying that nothing about this case should have indicated that designation to law enforcement.

WHERE IS ALEXANDRIA?

Hi all...I just talked to Ali's dad, John...there is a new article in the Houston Chronicle that has security camera images from the school bus showing what Ali was last seen wearing.

How this can still be listed as a "runaway case" amazes me. I'm not familiar with the area. Is it heavily wodded, or a very populated neighborhood?

Sometimes while driving, John Lowitzer becomes so consumed with thoughts about his missing daughter that he mutters to himself, “Where are you?”

Then, before his emotions overwhelm him, he hears a little voice that says, “Daddy, I'm OK.”

“Those are the hard things,” said Lowitzer as he tried to hold back his tears. His wife, JoAnn Lowitzer, sitting next to him in their Spring home this week, reached for his hand.

I live right where Ali came up missing,I have a daughter that reminds me so much of her.I think about this case every day.I wonder if there is anything we can do at Websleuths to get the police to investigate this case?...it seems like Ali's parents are doing all the investigating themselves,I'm glad Laura recovery center is helping...there are so many sex offenders in the neighborhood and no one is being questioned...also they should definetely take a closer look at the burger barn...I'm just worried sick...

Does anyone else find her dad's comments alarming? What are we not hearing about..."she had some really good days" at about 3:05 Are there emotional/psychological issues?

Plenty of customers in the Burger Barn. I certainly hope someone can ID or report a suspicious person in the area. Possibly a repeat customer that had an eye on Ali. Poor Ali's parents are devasted!

Teen's ‘runaway' status frustrates father
He says more help is available if she is classified as kidnap victim

Lowitzer said officials have indicated that if the case were classified as a kidnapping, for instance, the search for his daughter could potentially include specialized teams, forensics experts and high-tech aerial photography from the FBI and the Texas Rangers.

Amber Alerts aren't issued for runaways and Crime Stoppers isn't involved in missing persons cases.
