That's about 3 1/2 miles from the school where Shon Pernice's girlfriend worked.

Thanks Steadfast!! I've never even heard of Shon and Renee. Hopefully he will be held accountable for his actions...regardless of if this is one of his victims or not. http://blogs.pitch.com/plog/2010/01/...ver_custod.php

I thought about her too. I think until police release more information, anyone can be a possibility.

Hoping that they can ID who this is in a timely fashion. There are so many possibilities it's difficult to even fathom a guess at this point, at least until a gender is determined. Wonder how long they've been there.

Many hours driving wise...probably 8 or more.

As far as referencing the use of a barrel, there is a serial murderer case from the KC area who used barrels to put bodies in, however, those barrels were found in a storage facility. Also, there are still missing KC victims from Richard Grissom (I think that is the correct name). Those murderers both operated in a different area of the city, which for those unfamiliar, is really a metro area that combines a dozen or more separate municipalities in both Kansas and Missouri, which are all usually referred to collectively as "Kansas City".

It is scary to think about how many different people these bones could belong too.

Prayers for this person and their family.

Robinson was the one with the barrels. Grissom is a completely separate case ....he was much younger than Robinson. Both have been convicted, but there are open cases pending that are associated with Grissom.

So, I wonder if this is either Lisa Stasi, Catherine Clampitt, or Paula Godfrey, given that their presumed killer (and Kansas City area local) John Robinson has a history of putting his victims in barrels.

That would be my first guess, too, Carl.
