The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public to help it find a missing East Bremerton woman.
Kara Lynn Radabah, 19, was last seen at about 6 p.m. Thursday in the Illahee State Park campground during a search by family members. She had left home unexpectedly.
Radabah was diagnosed with schizophrenia within the past year and is being cared for at home near Illahee State Park. She recently stopped taking her prescribed medications and has been acting delusional.
Radabah is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and white shoes.
The sheriff’s office search-and-rescue team began looking for Radabah around 10 a.m. and has teams scouring the area. Its boat and about a dozen ground searchers are on the scene.
Anyone who might have seen Radabah or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or (360) 308-5400.

Kara's mom Cheryl has posted on Christian 105's Face Book. About halfway down the page.
BTW, one poster said they took a flier and put it on their car. I am guessing in a window. That's an idea if that is legal.

I can't find any updates on searches or anything. Anyone else? No real articles since 5/14 . Kara Lynn needs to be brought home and taken care of. Nothing but nice comments about her in the comments sections of the newpapers, from teachers, neighbors, friends, etc.

I so hope they hurry and find Kara safe. She's got such a beautiful smile. She reminds me alot of the beautiful Natalie Merchant.
Hoping that $25,000 will make people pay attention. Not that one should need a reward to help bring a loved one home to the family that is missing them.
Also this article stating the trail has gone cold. That's sad. There is always room for hope!

CENTRAL KITSAP REPORTER
Friday marked 15 days since Kara Lynn Radabah checked her Facebook profile, sent an e-mail or spoken to her parents.
Cheryl Radabah, Kara Radabah's mother, said she's waiting for a clue to surface, anything to let her know that her only daughter, 19, is safe.
"There hasn't even been a whisper of her," she said.
Kara Radabah disappeared from Illahee State Park near her house May 13.
Despite a reported sighting of her daughter in Bellingham earlier this week, the unknowns continue to cause heartache for Cheryl Radabah and her family.

The worker reported to police that a woman matching Radabah's description asked if this was Bremerton, and when the worker told her it was Bellingham, she became upset and ran away, Gundrum said.

BREMERTON, Wash. - Tips have been coming in from as far as Bellingham for a missing Bremerton teenager. Kara Radabah disappeared two weeks ago without her keys, wallet, or the medication she needs for a serious illness.
Kara grew up a shy and booksmart girl. Radabah graduated with honors from Bremerton High School last year and got a scholarship at Central Washington University.
"She just loves people. She's one of the most down to earth people you'll ever meet," says her father, John Radabah.
But at college, her family noticed something was wrong. Kara started showing signs of schizophrenia.

Bumping for Kara. This girl has been sighted at multiple locations. The ONLY way people will recognize her or look for her is if her face remains in the headlines and on the flyers.
I think it's time for a writing/email/phone campaign to the local news stations.

Another Teen Missing From Bremerton
Another teenage girl has vanished in Bremerton. It's been 2 months since 19-year-old Kara Radabah disappeared on May 13th, and now, 16-year-old Nellie Bail has been gone since July 8th. Both girls vanished within a mile of each other.
Both girls' families have come together to try to find them.
Kara Radabah's mother Cheryl can relate. She's worked hard to get the word out about her daughter's disappearance in May. She understands the paralyzing fear the Bail family feels, so she reached out to them to help by offering advice and support.
Cheryl says there are similarities in both teen's disappearances. Not only did they take driving lessons from the same school, Kara went missing near Illahee State Park. That's less then a mile from where Nellie vanished. Search dogs tracked Kara walking towards Perry Avenue Mall, the same mall Nellie was seen riding by. Unlike Nellie, Kara has a medical condition that can cause her to be vulnerable to the wrong person when she's forgotten to take her medicine. Cheryl says, "I believe that if Kara had not been interrupted coming home that night, she would have come home."
Whatever happened, it's a nightmare for both families who hope the girls are okay, but fear the worst. Cheryl says, "I'd just like to implore people to keep their eyes open for Kara and for Nelly, something is wrong..something is off...just pleading with people out there to keep their faces in their minds..they could be anywhere."

ILLAHEE — Remains believed to be Kara Lynn Radabah, the 19-year-old Bremerton woman who disappeared near Illahee State Park on May 13, were discovered around 11 a.m. Sunday.
Scott Wilson of the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office said a German Shepard being used in the morning search party found remains in a ravine just off Steinman Lane, on the north end of Illahee State Park. He said there is a "very strong likelihood" the remains are of Radabah, and a piece of clothing found at the scene matched the 19-year-old's description.
