Thirty-eight-year-old Irene Reynolds was arraigned today in Norwich Superior Court on charges that she murdered her mother in 1993.

Outside the courthouse, Reynolds husband, Joel Outlaw, proclaimed her innocence.
She is sitting behind bars for no reason, said Outlaw.
The nephew of victim, Bertha Reynolds, screamed at Outlaw, What about my aunt?
Bertha Reynolds was found at the bottom of a staircase at her Laurel Avenue in July 1993. She died of blunt trauma to the head and strangulation.
