NJ - Sex Offender Poses As Census Worker
All I can say is thank goodness this woman and her child are safe and she had the prescence of mind to call the cops.
Amy Schmallbach of Pennsauken, New Jersey doesn't answer her door when she is home alone with her toddler child. However on May, 4th a Census Worker was at her door. She hadn't filled out her form yet and saw the man had a badge and a Census Bureau logo bag.
As the man was asking her questions as to who lived in her home and how many she recognized the man from the Sex Offender Registry. She also recalled his crazy a*s aliases he used like Phantom Flan, Toot Flynn, and "Jamie Shepard".
Frank Kuni aged 47 is a Registered Sex offender who served foru years in prison for endangering the welfare of a child, and burglaries as well.
LE checked with the Census Bureau and guess what? They had a "Jamie Shepard" who passed the name check, but not the fingerprint check. There's a list of how they go about hiring for such things at link along with other information.
Thanks, Ms. Schmallbach for being on the defensive and trusting your judgement. This lady at LEAST spared somebody getting burglarized and perhaps God forbid having their child assaulted or worse. Oh and "Shepard" had been hired and then let go the first week of May. ***Indeed he had visited other homes*** before and after they ditched the guy.

Sorry for the double post.
Frank Kuni. The link has a few other offenders from the same area. He's at the bottom of the page.
Unbelievable the number of aliases this guy uses.

The Department Of Homeland Security raided this guy's house and another location he is connected to.
Frank Kuni is in deep doggy doo. Thank goodness. NOW maybe they'll keep him locked up.
They've got ahole of four laptops so far. They're searching for things like false ID and mechanisms he may have in which he made them. They also came across a ton of cash.
It's not at this link, but neighbors were on TV today showing exactly how close he lived to a school. He also rode his bicycle in a scuba diving suit.

OMG - that is so scary. Glad mom was on top of things! I never answer my door if I don't recognize the person. I talk thru the door, but I never open it. People think I'm weird, but I like it that way!

Well u can't very well hold an umbrella when ur riding, lol, what a waste. I think the guy is absolutely nuts.
Nice work for the mom, she certainly is on her toes. I wonder if she's a member here with us?

Yes, folks the neighbors said he rode that bike all the time. One lady was like "Yeah how do you think we felt when he was riding that bike in a full scuba outfit?" You could see the school from his house. Plus he had a ton of money in there and a bunch of computers.
Hey, anyone makes up aliases like Toots McGhee or something like that ain't right in the noggin. However he was intelliegent enough to score that job. Intelligent enough to have a ton of fake ID's.
The muggers they showed on TV were amazing. He looked like two completely different people in them.
Way to go mom in Pennsauken. We here at Websleuths are glad you were on watch.
Just a question in case anyone knows the answer. What happens if you DO NOT fill out that census? Look, that dude is a burglar as well as a child molester. Seems the government is now all up in arms because of the fake ID's. O.K. I get it. Meanwhile there's a child molester in a scuba outfit riding a bike all around Pennsauken. A guy who had every single person's information from the Census.
Scary world I say.

Oh good the government is implementing stricter hiring practices for their Census workers after Toots Flimflamer the Registered Sex Offender in this thread was going door to door.
Excellent way to start now. In Indiana aCensus worker returned later after getting information from a disabled woman. He raped and burglarized the poor woman.
Meanwhile not O/T but considering people's safety there's been 113 reported cases of assault ON workers since April 1st. At least three were held against their will, and carjacked. Just yesterday i think a guy in PA got angry at one worker and chased him and punched him.
They can't figure out another way to do this?

Census worker admits he lied and used an alias to get the job. Ummm, I would guess you'd have to admit to it when ya got caught red handed.
This guy is facing some serious time.
