A well-placed, high-ranking law enforcement source told CALL7 Investigators that based on current information the FBI believes it is the body of Kayleah Wilson but cannot definitively confirm until it compares dental records.

The worker who made the grisly discovery in the Greeley-Loveland Irrigation Canal said the body was naked,

This is no accident if she was found naked.

Additional info:

Do we have public works info for Greeley- specifically the underground drainage, sewer, water treatment etc? I would be interested to know more about the way their system works and whether or not they shift water via automatic, manual or both methods.

I will be surprised if they don't have dental confirmation one way or another in a couple of hours. It certainly can be done that quickly, let's see if it is....

Me too, there could be a lot of scenarios here. Keep me posted on what you hear if you don't mind.

Well I would like to know where this ditch starts before it goes underground and daylights again where she was found ... I will see if I can find the info on the ditches for Greeley. That would give us an idea of where she may have been before the discovery today.

"The City of Greeley Public Works Stormwater Division develops city drainage standards, reviews flood impact issues, regulates illicit stormwater discharges, manages the stormwater utility and the city's stormwater environmental program. "

"It's just impossible right now to determine when the body was deposited," Tymkowych said. What it is clear is that the body was not at the irrigation site on Tuesday, because it was inspected on Tuesday.

Has this been posted, I haven't read backwards?

If the body wasn't there Tuesday, and the water flows east, either it was put there after Tuesday or came through the underground pipe which ends at 35th and turns into the irrigation ditch. (moo)

I'm watching the early evening edition of news at 9News Denver streaming online; they just showed video with a live reporter giving an update from Kayleah's home. They showed video of Kayleah's Mom and said she was headed to the Weld County Coroner's office (supposedly at approximately 1 pm MST this afternoon). Poor thing...

If this video gets posted on the website, I'll post it for reference.

I think she's been in the underground part of the ditch and storm water dislodged her. Bless her heart...

If I remember correctly from earlier postings the underground part of the drainage runs from 47th to 35th then it drains into the irrigation ditch. It is heartbreaking to think she was maybe in that pipe...:(
