HLN update now - Victim's father speaking

Praise be to God! His lifestyle finally got him!

So glad they caught him, I was beginning to think he had too much of a head start on the police. They did an excellent job in catching him. Had he made it to Santiago, it would have made the job of finding him much more difficult.

Now let's see some real justice.

Meee too! Oh Happy Dayyyy! :woohoo:

Thank God they got him alive!

I want to see his mug shot...if they do those over there...

HLN just announced they will be covering more on this case "straight ahead".

I'm ready to learn more about Peruvian prisons now!! :D

AND I have to say, who would get in a taxi when Interpol is after you? :loser:

sorry for self-quoting -

that was a QUICK update....just a short telephone interview with Stephany's father. Basically expressing his relief that Joran had been captured. He sounded so, so sad, despite his relief. :(

I am sure it will be replayed on posted on HLN's website later.

LOL, for real!

Thank God!!!

"The guy is certainly arrogant. But he appears also to have a drinking issue, a gambling issue. And he's the kind of guy who's stupid enough to slip up in his arrogance. And that's what you hope for. They're slick enough now -- they've lawyered up, they've had months to get their mess together. I think the only thing you can do is hope that they do walk around free, get drunk some day, start confessing, and make the kind of mistakes that stupid criminals make." - Wendy Murphy, Legal Analyst

Now for justice..

Hope you get to feeling better soon Tricia.

Live coverage of the story on In Session. They just did a phone interview with NH's uncle, Paul Reynolds.

as far as peruvian prisons, I had asked for more info about them on the previous thread and had just been answered when we swapped threads. I'm gonna pop over and snip them over here.
