SC - Teen Throws Naked Girl Over Balcony In Myrtle Beach
Cody Epley is in trouble. The teen from South Carolina tossed an 18 year old girl who was naked over the balcony of a hotel in Myrtle Beach.
Epley who is 17 years old has been charged with 1st degree assault. A couple walking past the hotel about 6:00PM witnessed the girl screaming and running and then Epley throwing her over. The couple ran to help. The girl was able to tell them that Epley tried to choke her and rape her and she ran.
At some point this girl was missing? Not sure if she was missing from home or from wherever her friends were staying. Apparently after getting out of the hospital she went with two guys somewhere.
I know nothing of Myrtle Beach. Is this like a "Senior Week" where all the grads go to party? I know, I know, I know we all did it. We meaning my friends every summer from age 16 on to 18. Yes, you do stupid things. Yes there are bad people verywhere, but nobody was getting tossed the hell over a balcony naked. Drunked up guys jumped from balconies into pools, but they didn't throw girls off them.
Thank goodness the girl is alright. As for Cody Epley his tail is in big trouble it looks like.

Wonder if she was a runaway and didn't want to/couldn't go home to her parents?

She's young. I guess she wanted to finish out her time at the beach? Isn't thinking? Too upset? Who knows? I've given up trying to figure out just what in the heck kids between 11-20 are thinking. I've given up trying to remember how my thought proces was(nt).
My own DD lives away at school. In a conversation she says "Yeah it's like when we got held up". I was floored. "Oh yeah and when I went to court". I'm really floored. Then she adds "Since the guy put the gun in our faces".
Ulcer, heart palpitations, 19th nervous breakdown. This was months later. Maybe she knew how I'd react? Or she just don't think. Having no fear is not a good thing. Sorry for that rant.

OMG, Filly, that must have been quite the shock! Yes, isn't it fun when our children throw little 'tidbits' at us? My daughter is almost 22 and I've had several strokes already. LOL
