You know he could have never left the room and the coffee video is all a sham to trick everyone. He could of had those cups from earlier in the day before she even got there along with the danish.

OOPS...I got caught in the closing of the thread...

That little knuckle type knocking is common went you know someone is awake in the room. I think he did because he was hoping that it would draw the attention to him of trying to gain entrance into the room. He probably hoped a cleaning maid or someone else close by in one of the halls that could hear him pretending to get into the room.

I just think he may have come out into the hallway to see what was going
on and judge the tenor of things, prior to him leaving - the locked door
business an added touch of non-reality for the camera?

I keep thinking about what JVS was thinking about inside that room after the murder.

You know he was thinking he had to find a way to remove her body. He thought of this "I left and came back and she was dead" scenario but saw the cameras. Also, he has a REP already with the Natalee situation. You know he thought about trying to chop her up and remove her in luggage. Maybe not. In the end though I think he realized he was caught. He couldn't pull that off so he just fled. Sorry just ramblin' thoughts.

he's so fidgety and just did not plan that out very well IMO

Thats what I think. I think he went out in the hall to check and see if anyone heard anything. If there were people around, etc.

The two new pics from the casino. Just wanted to point out - in one of them, check out the "chip stacks" for both him and her. He has hardly anything and she's gots "stacks". So we now have verification that she was definitely winning that night!
 
Not sure what happened to my last post, so I'll try again.

I've seen the video, and if anything I believe it tends to exculpate Joran, at least as far as killing Stephany before he left the room with the coffee cups.

Getting the hotel employee to open the door is a gigantic risk to take. The room was tiny- she opened the door all the way. I think she would have noticed a body on the floor. I admit I don't know what he was doing in the hall, but while it looked kind of strange, I don't think it looked like the actions of someone who'd just committed murder. If he did indeed already kill her, then I don't think it made any sense to get the hotel worker to open the door for him.

Why, by the way, had we never heard about someone having to open the door to his room that morning? I would think the employee would have come forward after that room became notorious. But, I realize those who think Joran is guilty will interpret this video as providing support for their belief, much as the annoying naysayers like myself will interpret it as supporting the view that Joran is innocent.
 
All we have is his word he left for coffee. And wellllll.......This may be the only video there is since this is the only one released.

Joran is with someone when they discover the carnage.
He is clean, freshly showered, coffee for two, calm and charming as always.

When he saw the camera he pulled the plug on finding the body and split?
 
does it look like he actually says thank you right after the clerk opens the door for him - he coughs a little, puts his hand up to his mouth and it kinda looks like he says something
