Camp Albert Pike victim searches for missing daughter
Last Update: 8:27 am
The number of people considered to be missing in the Camp Albert Pike Flood continues to grow.
Preliminary reports from Langley, where many are gathered at a nearby Baptist Church, indicate that nearly 30-40 are still unspoken for tonight.
As family members gather, sad and concerned for missing loved ones, teams of search parties are making plans to begin early morning expeditions.
The parent of one girl, considered missing as of this evening, has already come forward asking for help in locating her daughter, Jadyn Basinger.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt. She is eight years old. Her dad and sister are confirmed dead. Her mother is the only survivor.
If anyone has any information about Basinger, they are being asked to call the Pike's County Sheriff's Office.

One child from a Shreveport-area family torn apart by Friday morning's flash flooding is still missing.Searchers haven't been able to find Jadyn Basinger, 8, and about 21 others two days after water roared through a popular campground in Arkansas.
Jadyn's mom, Kerri Basinger, of Gloster, continues to wait in Arkansas for word about her daughter. Searchers found the bodies of Basinger's husband, Shane, 34, and the couple's younger daughter, Kinsley, 6, while combing a 20-mile stretch of the Caddo and Little Missouri rivers.
The Basingers were camping with friends Candace and Anthony Smith and the Smith's children. Candace Smith survived, but Anthony Smith, 30, Joey Smith, 5, and Catelynn Smith, 2, died. The Smiths also are from Gloster.
Anthony Smith graduated from Southwood High School in 1997. He was co-owner of an information technology company that serves north Louisiana and east Texas.

Young girl is 20th Ark. flash flood victim found
By CHUCK BARTELS, Associated Press Writer – 18 mins ago
LANGLEY, Ark. – Crews on Monday found the body of a young girl who was the 20th victim of a flash flood that devastated a popular Arkansas campground, but they continued searching because it wasn't clear whether the girl was the last person reported missing.
Officials had said earlier that they still were looking for a young girl missing from the Albert Pike Recreation Area campground. But State Police Capt. Fletcher said searchers weren't sure if the girl whose body they found was the same one reported missing by her family.
Police will wait to announce the girl's name until her identity is confirmed by dental records or DNA, Fletcher said.

Crews have found the 20th victim in the flash flooding. Eight-year-old Jadyn Basinger was found early Monday after search crews scoured the Little Missouri area for the girl.
FOX16 had a chance to sit down with the remaining survivors. Jadyn's mother talked about losing her husband and two daughters. Along with her was Candace Smith, a friend from Louisiana who lost her husband and two children as well.
"They just found my oldest daughter today. She was the last one missing. They found her and she wasn't far from the campsite," says Basinger.
Absolutely heartbreaking....Rest in Peace Jadyn.
