Homeless man rescues Old Glory

Beautiful story mimimama. I bet he is a vet.

Bless him and I'll be praying that his circumstances change for the better.

...On July 4, KFOX aired the story of a man caught on a security videotape picking up a fallen U.S. flag. The Samaritan, Gustus Bozarth, then folded the flag military-style and left it in a safe place.

KFOX caught up with Bozarth who lives in a makeshift shack nearby.

"It's a small respect, folding the flag like that," he said. Bozarth said he learned to fold the flag when he worked as a security officer in Tampa, Florida.

KFOX is now working with a local agency to aid Bozarth as viewers begin to ask how they can help...

Not a vet but still he won my heart. :)

FWIW, I lived in EP for almost a year. I have never lived anywhere in the USA and outside of the USA where the citizens are so caring, so loving and kind.

We intend to return to that area to live out the rest of our days once my Husband retires from his military career. :)

I think this also shows that many homeless people are good hearted and decent people who are having a downturn in their lives.

What a good man!! I hope he does get help and can have a better life.
