There have now been two unexplained fire deaths in the Kingston region in the past five weeks, with the revelation by investigators that a body was found in the charred shell of a Loyalist Township home.
A post mortem is expected to be done today in Ottawa on the remains found Tuesday at the property at 2306 Switzerville Rd., about 20 km west of Kingston.

On June 8, a 35-year-old Napanee man died in an explosion and fire.
The remains of Patrick Painter, a corporal in the Canadian Forces, were found in the rubble of his home at 226 Queen St., a quiet residential street in the town's east end:waitasec:

POLICE SEEK HOMEOWNER
Police have released the name of a Loyalist Township man whose home was destroyed by fire on the weekend.
Raymond Zachary Ottenhof, 49, lived at the limestone house at 2306 Switzerville Rd. Police say he is a construction worker with associates in Loyalist Township, Napanee and the Kingston area.

A intense fire gutted Ottenhof's house early Sunday morning.

Loyalist firefighters searched the rubble of the house after the blaze was out and found no sign of a victim, but police say they've been stymied in finding Ottenhof, who is known to take trips lasting several days.
Anyone with information should contact police.

The first article says remains were found but the next article says no remains found. Same address, apparently same fire, am I missing something?
