Resolved OK - Oklahoma City, Bones, shoes found in vacant school, Jul'10 - Not human

omg - had to be someone who worked there or knew the layout

ETA: that link does not state 'children's' tennis shoes that I can see?

I'm from the OKC metro area. This is not a great area of town. I wonder how old the child was.

I can't think of any unsolved missing children in the last 5 years or so...Can anyone else?

Wow! I will be keeping an eye on this one.

The article said the school has been closed since 1987. I wonder if the bones/shoes have been there that long?

No, it doesn't say they are children's shoes.

I SAID Children's shoes so I went back and looked...sure enough, they've changed it from Children's Shoes to Tennis Shoes. Perhaps the media jumped to conclusions? At any rate, I changed the title of the post.

The link itself still says "childrens" so the story must have changed -- sounds like they might not even be sure they're human bones.

The only "child" I see so far missing from Oklahoma City is Amber Barker.
