Roy Elwell Had Held Brittney for Several Days When She Was 17, Mother Says
By DEAN SCHABNER

Elwell was not at the address were he is registered as a convicted sex offender, and police came up empty at other locations they checked, McGaha said.
But one of those places was a home in Spencer County, Ky., where a woman told police she had been with Elwell, McGaha said. When Bullitt County investigators contacted their counterparts in Spencer County to ask them to look into the tip, they were told that a dead body had been found at the house this past week. The young woman was seen on Tuesday, by a woman who described her as having black marks, bruises and tears on her face, Kustes said. The woman said that when she approached Brittney, who was in a small gold car, to ask if she needed help, a man yelled at her to get away and they drove off.

Missing teenager profiled on AMW web site
"Struck her as odd that he was holding her cell phone, but she said what was even odder was that really odd was the fact that Brittney wanted to use the bathroom and he went to the bathroom with her; he wouldn't even let her go to the bathroom," says Det. McGaha.

This case was featured on the Nancy Grace show tonight. Mainly it emphasized how incredibly dangerous Elwell is.

I live in the Louisville area and posted this on another thread here on WS. This poor girl's story is on the news constantly here and I can't figure out why the news hasn't reported this dead body that was found. That makes no sense to me. That could be a huge part of the story and until I read it here on WS I hadn't heard a single word about it. At first I thought I was just missing it or something but after I posted it on the other thread here someone else from the Louisville area said they hadn't heard about it either. I'm in no way saying they didn't find one, just saying it's weird that the local news from where the girl went missing isn't reporting it.This Is Just My Opinion

I'm also from Louisville and I haven't heard a word about a dead body. You would think that if a body had been found the news stations would be all over it.Shhhhh..........we're watching Nancy Grace.
