Investigators said Wednesday that a 2-month-old infant was poisoned to death by a dangerous drug in his mother's milk. Police charged the mother with the baby's murder.

Kaisha Poulson is charged with murder in the death of her 2-month-old son, Jack.

OMG - she knew what she was doing. And she couldn't be so stoopid NOT to know that the drugs go into the breastmilk. In this day n'' age it just shocks me.

Obviously drugs were a priority over formula and a telephone.

Poor wee thing.....bless this baby.

Meth mom gets 16 months for baby’s death from breastfeeding

Kaisha Lynne Poulson, 26, will spend 16 months in prison for several criminal charges stemming from the death of her infant baby in March 2010.

She pled guilty in Fayette Superior Court last week to cruelty to children in the second degree for her infant’s death. She was originally charged with murder in the case, as authorities alleged that her baby died due to methamphetamine poisoning because the child absorbed the drug from Poulson’s breast milk

Well....that sentence is certainly depressing. Thanks lovejac. It's a sad day and age when I am forced to be relieved that she was convicted at all.
