--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Circumstances of Disappearance
Lynn Schuller was last seen on August 6, 1972. Keith Schuller claimed his wife was sleeping when he last saw her. Her husband and their 3-year-old son left their home around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 1972, while Lynn was still sleeping. When they returned about five hours later, Lynn and her bicycle were gone. The husband then took the boy swimming at Bever Park, after leaving a note for Lynn. About an hour later, they returned home.

Lynn Schuller's bicycle was there but she was missing. The house was undisturbed. All of her belongings, including her purse, were still there. The only items missing were the clothes she was wearing.
Sometime that day, the husband called Lynn's parents and others to say she was missing. A few searches of the area turned up nothing.
The next afternoon, about 24 hours after the husband said he first realized something was wrong, he called the Sheriff's Department to report Lynn as missing. A more extensive search was conducted with the help of dozens of volunteers. Detectives obtained a search warrant and seized several items from the house.
On March 20, 1978, Lynn Schullerwas declared legally dead. She has never been located. Foul play is suspected.

Questions:

1.) Is it known where Lynn's husband took their son, before going swimming? (When they left, when Lynne was still sleeping?)

2.) Was Keith ever considered a suspect in his wife's disappearance? Did he take a polygraph? Results?

3.) What was the status of the couple's marriage at the time that Lynne disappeared? Financial situation of the family? any personality conflicts in the family? Did neighbors and friends suspect anything?

Satch

PS. WOW!!!! Check out Charley Project everyone! It answers (or at least, goes into more detail about Lynne's case.) I did not see the Charley Project account of the case when I had posted these questions. I have often wondered why almost always, Charlie Project has more details about cases than Doe Network:

I know in the past this wasn't a big deal, but anyway I find this very creepy:
"Barely a teen, the 13-year-old Lynn met 19-year-old Keith Raymond Schuller while the two families were vacationing in northern Minnesota, and began a relationship that culminated in their marriage on September 18, 1965 when Lynn was 18 and Keith, 24."
I would like to know when was the last sighting of her (aside her husband's version).
Why do we have to believe she disappeared that day? He worked as a Science teacher and a coroner after her disappearance, so he had deep scientific knowledge. If she was killed before the supposed vanishing, his pets (the two snakes and the 6-foot alligator) may have eaten her body... The police said they were to small to eat a whole human body, but if they had time to eat it...
This is awful, I know, I'm sorry...
