Elliott said her husband and T were at a Vancouver Walmart recently and were followed into the men's room. The guard washed his hands while T was in a stall.

"Is that your boy?" the man asked T's father, Marcus Elliott.

"Yes," said Elliott. "That's my boy. It's not (Kyron)."

Terri Horman’s Friends Bought Phones For Privacy

Friends of Terri Horman purchased disposal cell phones shortly after the father of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman filed for a restraining order, FOX 12 confirmed Friday.

During the course of the investigation into Kyron’s disappearance, Terri Horman and her friends believed their other personal cell phones were being monitored. They purchased new ones for the sake of privacy.

Intensive Search for Kyron

Search and rescue teams undertake the most intense search for the Kyron Horman we've seen in weeks as investigators scour parts of Washington County.

It's unclear whether search crews were out as a result of information brought forth in recent grand jury hearings, but a retired Portland Police Bureau detective commander says crews wouldn't be back searching the area without cause.

"I don't think they're checking without any background to it, they're checking for a reason," said Cliff Madison.

There's no telling if the grand jury has enough credible evidence to make an arrest and Madison says there may be enough dots to connect the evidence to, but for now it still appears tips are still leading to plenty of dead ends.

Crews Search Again In Kyron Horman Case

Crews returned to northwest Portlandon Saturday in the search for missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman.

FOX 12 has confirmed that a tip from DeDe Spicher -- a friend of Kyron's stepmother Terri Horman -- is what sparked the search.

Search teams were seen near a field off Cornelius Pass Road, about one mile south of Skyline School. Kyron was last seen at the school June 4 and his stepmother was the last person known to have seen him.

Crews were also seen in a field off Cornell Road on Sunday.

Multnomah County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lt. Mary Lindstrand confirmed that searchers are back on the hunt for missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman.

Officials searched yesterday and today, but Lindstrand would not say where they are looking and what led them spend the weekend searching for him.

Searchers in the Kyron Horman investigation were working east of Skyline Elementary Saturday, acting on information developed from Dede Spicher, reliable sources told KGW.

Investigators not only worked on information from her, they were also pursuing tips developed while looking into her relationship with Terri, sources said.

Kyron investigators search where DeDe gardened on 6/4

On Sunday, investigators looking into the disappearance of Kyron Horman spent hours searching a large property where Dede Spicher was gardening on June 4th, the day that Kyron disappeared.

Investigators know that Spicher, a good friend of Kyron's step-mother, Terri, disappeared for more than an hour that day and has not been able to fully account for her whereabouts.

On KOIN Local 6 report about the search today.

Reporter talked about (and residents were shown) re searchers getting permission to search wooded areas behind certain houses.

Also, "questionnaires" were handed out to people driving in the area. They were shown pics of vehicles (incl. white truck.)

Story also stated that a friend of Ky's was interviewed by the GJ for "about 10 minutes." The mother of this friend was on TV yesterday re the 300 balloon event.

Story states that Ky was supposed to (I believe according to this mom) perform in the talent show with her son that Friday and that son said he never saw Ky that day.

I will link when the info comes up.
 
I recorded this on my DVR and will go back through the story to make sure I'm as accurate as I can be until we have the link to verify story.

To me, it seemed like there was LOTS of info and I just couldn't keep totally up with it and be 100% certain that I was getting everything down correctly with just my ears.

Searchers scour woods for Kyron clues

Search teams spent all day Sunday combing areas off Northwest Germantown Road.

Neighbors tell us this is the second full day of searching in the area - some of it in areas so steep that teams had to rappel down cliff faces in order to cover the ground completely.

They say officers also went door-to-door interviewing neighbors with many of the same questions asked after the search first began.

"All they did is they came to the door and said they were with search and rescue this morning and wanted permission to go on our land to check the streams," said neighborhood resident Judith Emerson.

Some crews were using search dogs to go through forested areas along Germantown Road.

Multnomah County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lt. Mary Lindstrand said she believed search teams have wrapped up for the night after combing areas near Skyline School this weekend, more than two months after 7-year-old Kyron Horman first went missing.

There are no plans as of yet to continue the search tomorrow morning, Lindstrand said, but teams could return to specific areas if additional tips surface.

Officials renewed the search Saturday and Sunday, but would not release details on any findings.

"They're following up on leads and tips," said Lindstrand, refusing to comment on any specific testimony or tips that may have led to the renewal.

The continued search comes in the wake of last week's testimony from several friends of Terri Moulton Horman and Kyron's parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young before the grand jury.

Testimony is expected to last at least through the coming week.
