Police, rescue workers and volunteers spent Wednesday searching the woods for a 20-year-old McColl woman who went missing earlier this week,
When Bridget Danielle Ward, of 603 E. Gibson Ave., left her father's home at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday on foot, she gave no indication she would not return, according to McColl police.
No one has seen her since.
Police do not believe her disappearance was foul play, but officers are concerned because of health issues.
After Ward was reported missing, police have spent much of their time searching woods near Gibson Avenue and King Street in hopes of finding the missing woman.
Ward is a 5'6" white female with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black jeans, tank top and brown rainbow flip flops.
Laurinburg police are also searching for the woman as she sometimes frequents the area, according to Detective Brian Gibson.
