Kimberly Mimmovich loved karaoke.
It was one of her favorite things to do.
Now, almost a decade later, her boyfriend, Dion Kaseta, is charged with her murder...
Dion told investigators that he and Kim got into an argument while at Deerfield Beach and that she told him to let her out of the car so she could watch the sunrise alone.
No one ever saw her again.
...Dion claimed that he then went to his sister's home nearby for breakfast and went fishing alone after his brother-in-law hurt his ankle.
His family claims he never reported Kim missing until 12 hours later...
The Sheriff is asking the public to come forward if they know anything about Kim's disappearance and the location of her body.

Sheriff's investigators are digging in a vacant lot northeast of Lake Wales today, searching for clues in an 8-year-old cold case.
Detectives recently arrested the boyfriend of a Lake Wales woman missing since Dec. 8, 2001, and today they began digging in a lot on Chuck Wagon Way near where Kimberly Mimmovich, 37, lived.
The search came after a tip from a man who said his memory was stirred when he saw this month's news coverage of the Mimmovich case, said Donna Wood, Polk County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
Steve Bodway Sr. said that 3 1/2 to four years ago he and his son, Steve Jr., were clearing a lot on Chuck Wagon Way for the property's owner when they dug into a buried car.
They were looking for a place to dig a hole in which to bury brush, so they simply covered the car back up and dug in a different spot, he said, and they didn't think much of it.

Nothing found in cold case dig
A tip that resulted in a extensive dig produced only an automotive engine block and little else, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Homicide detectives excavated for two days in an effort to find a car said to have been buried in the neighborhood where Kimberly Mimmovich once lived. The Polk County woman has been missing for nine years.
