I don't find Danius listed in NamUs at this time.

I don't find Danius in any archived articles except a pay per view obit for what appears to be a family member (male).

Danius is endangered because of his diagnosed mental illness. He has been missing 12 years today. Come home soon. Prayers for his family.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Danius and his family and friends during this holiday season.

<<Very little is known about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Danius W Johnson.

Danius was 26 years old and may have been suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness at the time of his disappearance. He was homeless and had been staying at shelters in the Madison area. He was last seen in downtown Madison, Wisconsin on August 19, 1998. No one has seen or heard from him ever since.

Danius is described as a white/Caucasian male, about 5’4” and 140 pounds. He has brown hair, and blue eyes and wears glasses. It is not known what he was last wearing at the time he went missing.>>

if this man suffers from schizophrenia, i wouldnt assume that he is still alive. obviously he was a diagnosed schizophrenic because it is mentioned that he did at one point take medication for his illness. we have to remember that those who suffer from these kinds of illnesses cannot control their own visual/auditory hallucinations while off their medication. however, if this man is indeed NOT deceased... he did a fantastic job of getting himself off of the grid.
