Yes, Looks close enough to turn it in to me. Can't hurt. And god bless if it is him, his family will be overjoyed. If it's not him, only a few minutes of time on the LE's part.

God speed.

Twenty-eight years later, the Polk County Sheriff's Office still searches for clues to Leonard's whereabouts. He would be 44 years old today. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has assisted sheriff's detectives by creating an age-progressed photograph of what a middle-aged Leonard would look like.

A new image released *Friday refreshes the hope of his mother, Marilyn Leonard, 70, of Lakeland. The urge to discover what happened to her son that night, and possibly find him alive, is unshakable.

Bless his Mother's heart, I hope she gets answers soon.

I remember reading about this case somewhere else (I can’t remember where or when). I hope his family get some answers soon.

Did one of the friends have a pool? Lakeland isn’t that close to the beach and we all know better than to swim in a pond here.

Bumping up for Clifton. The following comes from:

His parents expected him to be home by 10:00 p.m., but he never arrived and never contacted him again. When his friends were questioned, they said he'd left Lake Hollingsworth in a car driven by an unknown individual.

Clifton left behind his new glasses, new school clothes, and medication, taking only a bag, a bathing suit, a change of clothing and $20. The screen was found removed from his bedroom window the day after his disappearance. His mother reported him missing on August 24.

...he had never run away and his parents don't believe he ran away in 1983.

Clifton's mother is still alive and lives in the local area, and remains hopeful that he will be found. Few details are available in his case.
