Another article in the Victoria Advocate from Sept. 6, 1978 with more info.
    http://news.google.com/newspapers?id...2696%2C6226996

Her husband worked at a chemical firm in Palacios and said she was missing when he returned home. The house was open but not ransacked.

Her car was in front of the house and the car keys were in the house. Purse was on the kitchen table.

Nothing missing except a pair of blue jeans and two T-shirts. One with the slogan "Pleasure Seeker" and the other had "Where the Hell is Milwaukee" printed on it.

I also found marriage info on Ancestry that is somewhat interesting. Wanda and her husband were married 15 Jan 1977 and divorced 5 Dec 1978, less than 4 months after she disappeared.

This article is from 2001 when Priddy was considered as a match for a Jane Doe found in Lyon County, Iowa. Includes an interview with her mother. Kathryn Collins is also mentioned. She went missing from Port Lavaca two years after Wanda.

I had been looking for additional photos of Wanda for quite some time, but I didn't know her maiden name or her high school, so I couldn't find any yearbook photos of her. But from the above article, I noticed that her mother's surname was Miller, and she was from Harlingen Texas (not Port Lavaca). From that, I found that Wanda Priddy was Wanda Miller, and she attended Harlingen HS.

Here's Wanda (Miller) Priddy's 11th grade portrait from the 1975 Harlingen (TX) High School Yearbook.

A proud happy people, we were here long before the white man came. Stalking along meadow paths, we were used to hunting every day. The rivers gave us fish, The woods even gave us deer and other wild game. Here upon this land, we built our homes, and raised our families. Love was free and natural, as we moved swiftly among the trees. This was a country, It was here that we lived for centuries. Oh I want peace with my soul again. Oh I, I want peace with my soul again. Everyday was new love,. Our village was filled with smiling faces.

    Thank you Tom!!
